San Antonio Spurs vs. Toronto Raptors Prediction, NBA Odds
The Toronto Raptors look to avoid losing home games to the top two teams in the Western Conference on back-to-back nights when they host the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday in NBA betting action at Scotiabank Arena.
The Raptors dropped a 116-107 decision to the league-leading Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday, snapping a two-game win streak, and haver now fallen to defeat in six of their past nine on home hardwood. The Spurs opened their current five-game road trip with a decisive 114-103 win in Detroit on Monday night, extending their current win streak to nine games and now sit just three games back of the Thunder in the hunt for the top of the West with three games in hand.
The Spurs arrive in Toronto perched as lofty 7.5-point road favourites on Wednesday’s NBA odds. The Raptors trail as lengthy +240 underdogs on the NBA moneyline, and the total is pegged at 229.5.
Spurs vs. Raptors NBA Betting Odds
The Spurs outclassed the Raptors in their first meeting of the season, rolling to a 121-103 victory in San Antonio on October 27, and now enjoy a four-game head-to-head win streak. Three of the Spurs’ recent wins over the Raptors have come by double-digit margins, with the club claiming victory by an average margin of 20.5 points during their 4-0 SU and ATS run, including a lopsided 123-89 win in their last visit to Toronto in March 2025.
With the Raptors topping 103 points just once during their recent struggles against the Spurs, the UNDER has gone 3-1 over that stretch. The Raptors have also struggled to generate offence at times during their current 3-6 run at home, averaging just 101 points while losing their past two and scoring 107 or fewer points five times.
The club has posted just one win in their past nine when pegged as home underdogs by 7+ points, but has covered the spread five times over that stretch. The Spurs have emerged as a reliable bet while winning nine straight, going 8-1 ATS, and have buoyed by an explosive attack that has averaged 131.3 points over their past seven wins.
San Antonio Spurs
The Spurs overcame a see-saw first-half performance and slammed the door on the Pistons after the break in Monday’s 114-103 win. Devin Vassell led the assault with his best performance since November, scoring a team-high 28 points after averaging just 10.7 points in 11 games since his return from injury on late January.
Big man Victor Wembanyama once again dominated in the paint with a game-high 17 rebounds to go along with 21 points, and has now averaged 22 points and 14.3 boards while recording double-doubles in three straight outings.
Playmaker Stephon Castle reached double-digits in assists for the eighth time with 11 helpers in the contest, marking a big turnaround after averaging just 4.5 assists in his previous four contests.
Toronto Raptors
RJ Barrett continued his steady ready to form with a team-high 21 points in Tuesday’s loss to OKC, but has averaged just 14.4 points when playing in the back half of games played on back-to-back nights.
However, Barrett and the Raptors might have to find a way to elevate their game without the help of Scottie Barnes, who is listed as questionable for Wednesday after suffering a quad injury versus OKC. Barnes is joined in the clinic by big man Jakob Poeltl, who is being held out of Wednesday’s game to rest and recover from a nagging back injury.
Tuesday’s contest was also disappointing for Brandon Ingram. “BI” has enjoyed a productive February, averaging 21.4 points and scoring 30+ twice but shot just 42.9 per cent while compiling just 15 points versus the Thunder.
