Stampeders vs. Elks Prediction: CFL Week 15 Point Spread, Odds
The third of four games on an all-Saturday of CFL Week 15 action – the Forty Creek Quadruple Header – is another rematch from Week 14 as the Calgary Stampeders visit West-leading Edmonton in the Battle of Alberta.
The Elks are only 3.5-point favourites on the CFL odds with a total of 62.5 points.
CFL Odds and Betting
As we enter Week 15 of the 2026 CFL regular season, Edmonton is atop the West Division at 9-3 and also holds the best division mark of any club at 5-2. So it sure seems like the West is the Elks’ to lose, although Saskatchewan is only a game back. Those teams close the regular season against one another on Oct. 24 at Mosaic Stadium. The Roughriders, though, are +450 second-favourites behind Montreal to win the Grey Cup with Edmonton at +460.
Calgary sits dead last in the West at 5-7 – which would be good for third in the much weaker East Division – but is only a game out of a current third-place tie between 6-12 B.C. and Winnipeg. The Stamps are +850 for the Grey Cup.
These franchises have split the past four meetings with the last sweep by Edmonton in 2024 when it went 3-0. They play twice this season, and this concludes the season series after the Elks prevailed 38-28 on Monday at McMahon Stadium as 1.5-point underdogs (total was 59.5).
Calgary Stampeders
There was a lot of good for Calgary in the Week 14 loss – the Stamps led by as many as 18 and still by 11 entering the fourth quarter, but then the wheels fell off.
“Up 25-7, there’s a good chance to win that ball game,” Stampeders head coach and general manager Dave Dickenson said. “Made some plays, but then we had some big mistakes as well.”
Quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. returned after missing a game with a head injury and threw for 214 yards and two scores – to Clark Barnes and Jalen Philpot — and rushed for 33 yards with no turnovers.
But Adams’ accuracy has been a bit off of late as he completed fewer than 57 per cent of his passes for a third straight game.
Defensively, Clarence Hicks picked up his league-leading ninth sack in the loss for Calgary.
Could this be the week wideout Reggie Begelton finally returns from his serious leg injury? He has been practicing but still not played in a game since Week 2 of the 2025 season.
The over is 6-0 in the Stamps’ past six as a road underdog.
Edmonton Elks
Ahead of the Week 14 matchup vs. Calgary, the Elks put specialist Javon Leake (hamstring) and good-looking rookie receiver T.J. Luther (hamstring) on the six-game injured list.
And the Elks came out completely flat before waking up in the fourth quarter for the big comeback win – scoring 24 of their 38 points in the quarter even though the weather was poor. ShunDerrick Powell, Justin Rankin and Cole Snyder had rushing TDs in the fourth, and Vincent Blanchard made a 52-yard field goal in his team’s third straight victory. Blanchard is now 4-for-5 from at least 50 on the year.
Edmonton out-rushed Calgary 163-90 led by QB Cody Fajardo, who ran for 76 yards on seven carries but did lose a fumble. He also threw for 181 yards, two scores (to Kaion Julien-Grant and Austin Mack) and a pick.
The defence held the Stamps to 10 in the fourth. Nick Anderson led that unit with 12 tackles and also had a sack. Maybe comebacks are just the Elks’ thing as they rallied from down 16 in the previous game to beat Winnipeg.
“We know we can play four quarters and we’ve got a chance to win any game,” Fajardo said.
The over is 4-0 in the Elks’ past Week 15 games. It’s so tough to beat the same team in back-to-back weeks, but Edmonton already handled the toughest part away.
