The Colts lead the regular-season series 9-6 and won the most recent meeting 22-19 in overtime at Baltimore early in the 2023 season. The Ravens won the previous two meetings, including 24-10 at Indianapolis in 2020.

Lucas Oil Stadium has a retractable roof, and the Colts have not yet announced whether it will be open or closed, making weather less of a concern than for an outdoor game.

Baltimore is a 3.5-point road favourite with a -180 money line, while Indianapolis is +150. The total sits at 47.5 points on the Week 1 odds list.
The Colts won the last meeting as an 8-point road underdog, but much has changed since 2023.
Baltimore’s biggest question comes up front. Jovaughn Gwyn will make his first NFL start at centre after playing only 11 career offensive snaps. He replaces Tyler Linderbaum, who signed with Las Vegas during the offseason.
Ethan Pocic, signed as a free agent away from division rival Cleveland, suffered an Achilles injury last season. He was cleared to play in July, but Gwyn gets the nod on Sunday.
Indianapolis’ offence revolves around Jonathan Taylor, who rushed for 1,585 yards and an NFL-best 18 touchdowns last season. Baltimore counters with Henry, who rushed for 1,595 yards and 16 scores in 2025.

Henry surpassed 1,500 yards for the second consecutive season in 2025 and averaged 5.2 yards per carry. With Baltimore breaking in a first-time starting centre and playing on the road, expect Doyle to lean heavily on his 252-pound back rather than immediately putting everything on Lamar Jackson.
Lamar Jackson anytime touchdown (+185)
Jackson rushed for only 349 yards and two touchdowns during an injury-interrupted 2025 season, but his mobility is still a major red-zone weapon. He has also enjoyed success against Indianapolis, going 2-1 in three career starts against the Colts.

Jonathan Taylor anytime touchdown (-190)
Taylor scored 20 total touchdowns last season, including 18 on the ground, while accounting for 1,963 yards from scrimmage. Indianapolis should continue feeding him near the goal line.
The Colts are breaking Jones back in, and he will be depending on Taylor to create some breathing room and be his dependable red-zone self.
Daniel Jones over 233.5 passing yards (-112)
Jones averaged 238.5 passing yards over his 13 starts last season and posted career highs in completion percentage, yards per attempt and passer rating. Alec Pierce, who produced a career-best 1,003 receiving yards in 2025, is expected to play after recovering from ankle surgery.
Jones also has Tyler Warren, who had 76 receptions for 817 yards and four touchdowns as a heralded rookie last season.

Baltimore enters 2026 with a new head coach but a very familiar identity on offence. Jesse Minter takes over after the Ravens missed the playoffs last season, while Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry remain the centrepieces of a unit now coordinated by Declan Doyle. Henry is coming off another huge season after rushing for 1,595 yards and 16 touchdowns, and Baltimore should have every reason to lean on him early while breaking in Jovaughn Gwyn at centre. Gwyn has played only 11 career offensive snaps and replaces Tyler Linderbaum, making the interior of the offensive line one of the biggest questions entering Week 1. Jackson remains the player who can erase those concerns fastest with his arm and legs, but Baltimore may prefer a controlled approach on the road rather than asking him to carry the offence immediately.
Indianapolis Colts
Indianapolis brings back much of the offence that helped the club finish 8-9 last season, although Daniel Jones returns from the Achilles injury that ended his 2025 campaign after 13 starts. Jones had been efficient before going down, completing 68 per cent of his passes for 3,101 yards, 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions, and he should again have a solid collection of options around him.
