Cardinals vs. Chargers NFL Betting Odds, Picks: Can Mike LaFleur turn things around in Arizona?

Add Sports Interacton as Your Preferred News Source

The Arizona Cardinals look to turn the page on a three-win season when they visit a Los Angeles Chargers team coming off back-to-back 11-win campaigns on Sunday at SoFi Stadium.

Arizona finished 3-14 last year, its fourth consecutive losing season. Jonathan Gannon is out, Kyler Murray is in Minnesota and Mike LaFleur takes over with Jacoby Brissett fully entrenched as the starting quarterback.

Brissett completed 64.9 per cent of his passes for 3,366 yards, 23 touchdowns and eight interceptions in 12 starts in 2025.

The Chargers are coming off consecutive 11-win seasons under Jim Harbaugh but are looking for more after another double-digit defeat in the Wild Card round. New offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel takes over a unit led by Justin Herbert.

Los Angeles leads the all-time series 11-5, but Arizona won the most recent meeting 17-15 in 2024 thanks to Chad Ryland’s last-second field goal.

Cardinals vs. Chargers Kickoff, Weather, TV, Streaming Info

Kickoff is set for 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The game airs on CBS and streams on Paramount+ in participating markets.

SoFi Stadium has a fixed roof, meaning the weather is unlikely to affect the game significantly.

NFL Betting Odds, Point Spread, Trends

The Chargers are 9.5-point home favourites on the NFL odds, with a -525 moneyline, while the Cardinals sit at +390. The total is listed at 47.5.

Los Angeles scored 21.6 points per game last season while allowing just 20.0. Herbert threw for 3,727 yards and 26 touchdowns but was also sacked 54 times.

Arizona has major questions after last year’s three-win season. The Cardinals scored 20.9 points per game. They surrendered 28.7 points per game, fourth-worst in the league, while Brissett was sacked 43 times.

NFL Player Odds and Props

Arizona Cardinals

Jacoby Brissett over 224.5 passing yards (-115)

Brissett averaged 280.5 passing yards in his 12 starts last season and has two proven targets in Trey McBride and Michael Wilson. McBride had 126 catches for 1,239 yards and 11 touchdowns, while Wilson added 1,006 receiving yards.

Trey McBride over 60.5 receiving yards (-115)

McBride broke the single-season record for catches by a tight end last season with 126. He averaged 72.9 receiving yards per game in 2025 and should remain Brissett’s most dependable target. He surpassed 1,000 yards for the second straight season.

Los Angeles Chargers

Justin Herbert over 231.5 passing yards (-115)

Herbert averaged 232.9 passing yards per game last season, but McDaniel’s arrival could create more opportunities through the air. Herbert also threw for 349 yards when these teams last met.

Ladd McConkey over 54.5 receiving yards (-115)

Ladd McConkey led Los Angeles with 789 receiving yards. He averaged 49.3 yards per game, and with Keenan Allen in Indianapolis, he should remain one of Herbert’s primary targets.

Arizona Cardinals

Arizona’s biggest injury question is Jeremiyah Love, the third overall pick in April’s draft. The rookie suffered an ankle injury during preseason and was limited in Wednesday’s practice as he works towards his NFL debut.

Starting guard Isaiah Adams and edge rusher Josh Sweat did not practice Wednesday, while cornerback Garrett Williams was limited.

Los Angeles Chargers

McDaniel inherits an offence that produced 5,675 yards last season but allowed 60 sacks.

Omarion Hampton returns after rushing for 545 yards in an injury-shortened rookie season. The Chargers also added speedy Keaton Mitchell, although he was limited Wednesday with a hamstring injury.

Edge rusher Tuli Tuipulotu, who led Los Angeles with 13 sacks last season, was limited with a hip injury.
