Micah Parsons’ absence robs the defence of its most disruptive player, and Josh Jacobs being unavailable strips the offence of its lead ball-carrier. That leaves Jordan Love needing to be sharper than usual behind an offensive line still working through injury concerns at guard and tackle; a tough ask against a defence that pressures the quarterback as often as anyone in the league. Jayden Reed and Matthew Golden give Love playmakers on the outside, but this profiles as a game where Green Bay’s margin for error is thinner than usual.
Minnesota Vikings
This is a Minnesota team banking on Kyler Murray’s arm and mobility to unlock an offence that badly underperformed last season. Justin Jefferson remains one of the best receivers in football, and both Jordan Addison and T.J. Hockenson give Murray a genuinely deep group to work with for the first time in his career. Defensively, the Vikings’ aggressive, blitz-heavy scheme led by Dallas Turner is built to exploit exactly the kind of shaky offensive line situation Green Bay is dealing with entering Week 1.
