Los Angeles Clippers vs. Utah Jazz Game 2 Prediction, Playoff Odds
As the teams gear up for Game 2 on Thursday night in Salt Lake City, the surging Jazz could have Mike Conley back in the lineup. He’s questionable with a hamstring injury that kept him out of Utah’s come-from-behind win in Game 1, a victory fueled by a sensational 45-point performance from Donovan Mitchell.

The opener was a nightmare for bettors, with the teams pushing ATS and finishing a half-point below the total of 221.5. Will we see another double sweat Thursday? The Jazz are once again three-point favourites as they look to build upon their incredible 25-13-2 ATS record for the season. The Clippers looked like a sure-fire cover option before fading late, but are still an impressive 4-1-1 ATS over their past six games.
While Utah has 54 percent of the ATS bets among Sports Interaction customers, the O221 (-110) is a more dominant play at 86 percent overall. That goes against both teams’ full-season trends, with the Clippers having gone 36-41-3 O/U for the year and the Jazz at 38-39-1. And while Utah has surpassed the total in five of its last six games (you can thank the Memphis Grizzlies’ porous defence for that one), these teams are 5-2 to the Under in their past seven.

Tuesday was an eventful night for Clippers star Paul George, who finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds in defeat despite shooting just 4-of-17 from the field – a performance that prompted delighted jeers from the Salt Lake City crowd. And from a betting standpoint, George has been wonderfully consistent when it comes to scoring, having racked up between 20 and 23 points over each of his past five games after averaging 26.7 points in his first three playoff tilts.
Utah Jazz
The Jazz are one of the NBA’s most well-rounded teams, but there is one key area where they own a distinct advantage over the Clippers – and it showed in Game 1. Led by defensive player of the year Rudy Gobert (10 points, 12 rebounds, two blocks), the Jazz finished with a 12-9 edge in offensive rebounds and a 36-24 advantage in points in the paint. And with Serge Ibaka (back) already ruled out for Game 2, the Clippers will be thinner up front yet again.
