Bills vs. Rams NFL Betting Odds, Picks: Josh Allen’s Bills Set As MNF Underdog

Add Sports Interacton as Your Preferred News Source

One of the marquee matchups of the season and very possibly a Super Bowl 61 preview concludes Week 5 around the NFL on Monday night as Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills visit Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams, who are -2.5 on the NFL odds with a total of 54.5 that is the highest of the week.

Bills vs. Rams Kickoff, Weather, TV, Streaming Info

SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles has a translucent roof and will host Super Bowl 61. Too bad as it will be a lovely night in the L.A. area, perfect for outdoor football. It’s a typical 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff on DAZN.

NFL Betting Odds, Point Spread, Trends

What doesn’t Bills vs. Rams feature? Two future Hall of Fame quarterbacks in Josh Allen and Matthew Stafford, who happen to be the past two regular-season MVPs. Allen is currently the +270 favourite for a second award. Stafford might be in his final season at age 38 and if he were to win a second career Super Bowl ring, I believe he would retire on top like John Elway and Peyton Manning did.

Allen and Stafford are similar quarterbacks in that both have big arms but Allen is as mobile as they come, and Stafford is a pure pocket passer. No one would be surprised if we saw a rematch on Feb. 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Super Bowl 61. Bills vs. Rams is the +2250 fifth-favourite to be the matchup behind only Chiefs-49ers, Chiefs-Rams, Bills-49ers and Ravens-49ers.

These franchises have met 15 times previously with Buffalo leading 9-6. The Rams snapped a three-game skid in the series with a wild 44-42 home victory in December 2024 in the last meeting. Allen went crazy with three passing TDs and three rushing scores – the first NFL player with at least three of each in one game. Stafford passed for 320 yards and two scores, including hitting Puka Nacua for the go-ahead 19-yard touchdown with 1:54 to play.

NFL Player Odds and Props

If you aren’t playing Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen for an anytime touchdown, you aren’t paying attention. He added rushing score No. 7 on the year in Sunday’s win. Also take Matthew Stafford for an interception thrown. He has always been a gunslinger and is second in the league with six picks, including at least one in each game.

Buffalo Bills

Buffalo was unbeaten through three weeks, but the defence was a major problem and that finally caught up to the Bills in Sunday’s 29-26 loss to New England. Buffalo rookie Davison Igbinosun cornerback started his first game with usual starter Christian Benford injured. Then Dee Alford left during the game injured. The Pats took advantage. That dropped the Bills to 1-2 at home vs. the Patriots in the past three seasons including playoffs compared to 18-1 against all other clubs. Josh Allen passed

for a touchdown and ran for one but otherwise was not a factor on the ground with just four yards on five carries. Top wideout DJ Moore had one catch before leaving with a shoulder injury that cost him some time already this season. Keon Coleman would become Allen’s top target if Moore is out again. Coleman caught six passes for 115 yards and the Bills’ go-ahead TD in the fourth quarter in the loss.

Los Angeles Rams

The Rams were staring 1-3 in the face Sunday down 20-10 in Philadelphia in Sunday with about five minutes left, but Kyren Williams had a pair of rushing touchdowns and the defence stood tall late in the 24-20 win. Jalen Hurts was sacked twice on Philadelphia’s final possession and had a desperation pass knocked down. It was the first win by any NFL team this season when trailing by double digits in the final five minutes. It was QB Matthew Stafford’s fifth career win when down at least 10 in the final five minutes, the second-most by a QB this century. It was the Stafford’s first such win with the Rams.

Stafford got No. 1 wideout Puka Nacua back from a two-game injury absence, and he made a clear difference in catching nine passes for 125 yards and rushing for a short TD. Despite missing defensive stalwarts Myles Garrett, Aaron Donald and Jaylen Watson, the Rams’ defence held the Eagles to 172 total yards and 0-of-12 on third down. Garrett won’t return this week.
