EPL Liverpool vs. Manchester City best bet: Over 2.5 (-178)
Now is Liverpool’s chance to reawaken and take down their perennial rivals as they take to Anfield for one of the most important games of the season.
While the Reds would’ve liked to keep a perfect record up to this point, they are undefeated since the start of the season in all competitions, seeing out their fifth EPL matchweek to hold sixth place after securing a valiant 1-0 victory over Bournemouth.
Unfortunately for Liverpool, Swedish striker Alexander Isak is a doubt to play in this matchup after sustaining a foot injury on international duty. There is still a slight potential for Isak to play some part, but teammate Cody Gakpo is a no-go, as the Reds come in priced at +155 on the moneyline at home for this one.
City, on the other hand, are the only remaining EPL team to go five for five, leading the standings with 15 points.
Erling Haaland’s half-volley was enough to secure the 1-0 win for the Sky Blues in their Manchester derby on Sep 13, followed by an explosive 5-3 win against Sunderland before the break, fuelled by an Antoine Semenyo brace.
Much like Isak for Liverpool, both Haaland and Semenyo suffered minor injuries on international duty. Haaland should be geared up for this vital matchup, but Semenyo will likely have to sit this one out with an ankle and swollen leg injury, with City entering this one at +150 odds to win.
Both sides boast a combined 20 goals scored between them, and even without Isak or Gakpo, the Reds still roll out Florian Wirtz and Bradley Barcola. City can still rely on Haaland and the likes of Rayan Cherki and Jeremy Doku, which makes an over 2.5 goal tally likely for this exhilarating rivalry.
EPL Arsenal vs. Leeds best bet: Leeds +1.5 (-132)
Arsenal exited matchweek five of the EPL with a 3-0 shocker loss to Brighton, putting into perspective the potential vulnerabilities of last season’s champions.
Not only did the Gunners get handed a convincing shutout loss, but they also had virtually no chances on frame, firing off just one out of their six shots on target.
Time will tell whether this was a minor slip-up for the Gunners, or the beginning of a long descent from their first-place form, yet the side still showcases four wins (and a Community Shield trophy vs. City) and the second-lowest goals-allowed tally in the EPL (four).
The Gunners are heavy -300 home favourites this weekend regardless of lingering doubts.
Leeds are looking mighty hungry though, as while they would’ve liked to have entered the international break with some goals, they stumbled to a 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace.
The Whites drew 1-1 with Brighton in early September, just one of their three total draws so far this season, and they are yet to succumb to defeat in the league.
They are capable of scoring as well, as seen in their 4-1 domination over Newcastle on September 14, which saw Dominic Calvert-Lewin bag his first brace of the season, as he now ties his teammate Jayden Bogle with two goals.
Even if Arsenal takes the win, we’ve seen plenty of their victories end by just a one-goal margin, as the team finds solace in their defensive structure. With that said, go with the Leeds +1.5 spread for this one.
EPL best player prop bet: Pascal Gross to score or assist anytime in Sunderland vs. Brighton
Pascal Gross kicked off the new 2026/27 EPL season brilliantly with three goals and three assists in just five matches to help Brighton attain third place in the league.
Taking the German to either score or assist against a vulnerable Sunderland side should be in your best interest, all things considered.
