NFL Week 18 Odds: How many league records will be broken?

While playoff seeding is the biggest factor for teams in Week 18, there are also several significant NFL records on the verge being broken.

From Myles Garrett sitting a sack away from a new single-season record, to Justin Jefferson looking for his sixth straight season of 1,000 receiving yards, which records will fall and which will remain intact?

Myles Garrett

Myles Garrett needs one sack against Cincinnati to break the single-season NFL record of 22.5 shared by Michael Strahan and T.J. Watt. The Bengals have the 27-ranked offensive line and they gave up two sacks to Garrett earlier this season.

Christian McCaffrey

Christian McCaffrey is 110 receiving yards away from 1,000 receiving + 1,000 rushing yards. He would be the first player in league history to hit the milestone twice. McCaffrey faces a Seahawks defence that allows the most catches to running backs.

McCaffrey is also 159 receiving yards from from setting a record for most running back receiving yards in a season. His career-high in a game is 121.

Tetairo McMillan

Tetairo McMillan is sitting at 929 receiving yards, 80 from setting a Panthers rookie record. He’ll be up against the Buccaneers’ bottom-10 secondary.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba

Jaxon Smith-Njigba leads the NFL with 1,709 receiving yards this season. That’s 37 yards from top-10 all-time, 124 from top-five and 256 from breaking the NFL single-season record.

Justin Jefferson

Justin Jefferson needs 53 receiving yards for his sixth straight 1,000-yard season to start his career. Jefferson has 53 ore more receiving yards in eight of 16 games this season and he’ll face a banged up Packers defence in Week 18.

Trey McBride

Trey McBride recorded his 117th reception of the season last week, breaking the record for most receptions by a tight end in NFL history. He’s now 32 receiving yards from the Cardinals single-season record for tight ends, a number he’s surpassed in 15 of 16 games this season.

Josh Allen

Josh Allen is at 14 rushing TDs on the year. He needs one more rushing TD to tie the NFL single-season record, currently held by Allen and Jalen Hurts.
