2026 PGA Tour Wyndham Championship Golf Betting Odds
The PGA Tour’s 2026 regular season comes to an end this week at the Wyndham Championship in North Carolina where most of the drama Sunday will surround players fighting to get inside the Top 70 in points and reach the FedExCup playoffs. Cameron Young is favoured on the golf odds.

The Wyndham Championship concludes the 34-event PGA Tour regular season and as of publication, every single golfer sitting between No. 61 to No. 125 in points is in the field looking to ensure a spot in the Top 70 and advancement to next week’s playoff opener, the FedEx St. Jude Championship. Those who finish Nos. 71-100 in the standings will have full Tour status for 2026, while those in spots Nos. 101-125 retain conditional status.
The current “bubble boy” at No. 70 is touted rookie Jackson Koivun, who just won the 3M Open in Minnesota two weeks ago. No golfer moved inside the Top 70 Sunday in Detroit at the Rocket Classic, which was won by the USA’s Michael Thorbjornsen for his first Tour victory. That sealed his spot in the FedExCup playoffs as Thorbjornsen leapt to 38th in points. He’s taking this week off.
Mac Meissner is currently the first out at 71. Some notable guys who are outside the Top 70 currently are Keegan Bradley (72), Jason Day (75), Canada’s Taylor Pendrith (85), Brooks Koepka (86), Tony Finau (89), Canada’s AJ Ewart (100), former FedExCup champion Billy Horschel (107), and Canada’s Mackenzie Hughes (120).
Young is the defending champion, which at the time was his first Tour win but now he’s considered among the world’s best players. Young had five straight birdies early in the final round to build a nine-shot lead and never was threatened in finishing at 22-under 258 (tournament record) and six shots up on runner-up Mac Meissner. Young also became the 1,000th player to win a recognized PGA Tour event.
I recommended an American overall and Davis Thompson in particular. He finished T11. Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C., a par 70 at 7,130 yards, has hosted every year since 2008. It’s an easy track and it has taken 20-under or better to win eight of the last 10 seasons. One of the Tour’s rare 59s was shot here in 2018 by Brandt Snedeker.

A handful of guys have won this tournament at least twice, but the only repeat winner was the legendary Sam Snead in 1954-55. The USA’s Cameron Young is the clear +1000 favourite as he tries to repeat. At No. 3 in the world, Young is easily the highest-ranked player in the field. He was also the +1000 favourite entering last week’s Rocket Classic in Detroit and finished eighth.
Patrick Cantlay (+2000), Jackson Koivun (+2200), Hideki Matsuyama (+2200) and Justin Thomas (+2700) round out the favourites. None have won here. Cantlay makes his tournament debut and comes off a T8 at the Rocket Classic. Koivun followed that win two weeks ago with a T31 in Detroit. He played this event as an amateur in 2025 and was fifth. I liked Matsuyama last week in Detroit, and he finished T5.
He was T19 here last year and has a best result of third. Thomas last played the event in 2023 and was 12th.
The lone Canadian to win the tournament was Stan Leonard in 1957, which would be the first of his three career PGA Tour victories. All the Canadians in last year’s field missed the cut: Adam Hadwin, Ben Silverman and Adam Svensson. Nick Taylor is +7000 this week with Mackenzie Hughes +10,000, Taylor Pendrith +10,000, AJ Ewart +17,500 and Svensson +25,000.
Wyndham Championship Golf Predictions
Will go back to an American overall and specifically Ben Griffin at +3300. He’s having a decent year with four Top 10s and been no worse than 11th in three of his past four visits to Greensboro but yet to win the event.
