Roughriders vs. Blue Bombers Prediction: CFL Week 14 Point Spread, Odds
The Saskatchewan Roughriders look to extend their lead atop the CFL West standings when they visit the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Saturday afternoon in CFL Week 13 betting action. The Riders overcame a slow start to record a 34-30 win over the Blue Bombers last weekend and travel to Winnipeg sporting a two-point lead over second-place Calgary in CFL West. With last weekend’s defeat, the Blue Bombers saw their first win streak since opening the campaign on a 3-0-0 run come to a halt. However, the Bombers return home riding a two-game surge at Princess Auto Stadium that has enabled them to maintain third place in the divisional standings, six points back of the Riders.
The Blue Bombers’ recent home success has helped lift them to slim 1.5-point home favourites on the CFL Week 14 odds. The Roughriders trail as +105 underdogs on the CFL moneyline and the total is pegged at 52.5.
CFL Odds and Betting
While the Roughriders hold a sizeable lead over the Blue Bombers in the standings, it is Winnipeg which has held the clear edge when these teams meet, winning nine of their past 12 clashes including seven straight home victories since 2018. The Bombers have also been a reliable bet in head-to-head action, covering in 12 of 16 overall meetings including a perfect 7-0 ATS win streak during their recent home dominance, claiming victory by an average margin of 26 points over that stretch.
Indeed, the Saskatchewan offence has been toothless in recent visits to Winnipeg, averaging just 12.7 points during their 0-7-0 run, rewarding sports bettors taking the UNDER in totals betting, which has gone 5-2 during that run. With the two losses on their current 3-2-0 SU run coming by a combined margin of just five points, the Blue Bombers have also been a steady bet of late, going 4-1 ATS. But Winnipeg has produced mixed results in recent dates as home chalk, covering twice while winning outright in just of five.
Saskatchewan Roughriders
After limiting opponents to just 15 points per game during a preceding four-game win streak, the Roughriders defence has faltered, while getting lit up for an average of 31 points during their current 1-1-0 run. Things will get no easier in Winnipeg, where the Bombers have regularly run up the score, averaging 32 points per game while winning four of five.
That boosts the pressure on quarterback Trevor Harris, who has seen his production taper off somewhat over the past two games, tossing for an average of just 212 yards and just three scores. Harris has also failed to storm out of the gate while failing to connect on a scoring pass in the first quarter in each of the past five games. Such a slow start on Saturday could prove devastating.

Winnipeg Blue Bombers
The Blue Bombers enjoy a golden opportunity to rejoin the hunt for the top of the CFL West standing with a sixth straight Banjo Bowl win on Saturday, and much of the credit must go to recent steady play of Zach Collaros. The Bombers pivot has steadily swung back into form since returning from injury in early August and returns home in the wake of one of his best performances of the season, throwing for three TDs and 326 yards in last week’s victory in Regina. Collaros has now racked up 13 touchdowns in nine appearances this season but has also tossed a league-high 11 interceptions, which he must avoid against the Riders, who lead the league with 14 picks this season.
