Los Angeles Chargers at Las Vegas Raiders: Stick with Ekeler

With L.A. Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert undergoing season-ending finger surgery, you can bank on a big week from running back Austin Ekeler in Week 15. Ekeler is coming off a Week 14 performance that saw him run the ball 10 times for 51 yards and a touchdown while catching the ball five times for another 49 yards on the ground. It was the fifth time in 10 games this season that Ekeler has finished with 70 or more combined rushing and receiving yards. Backup QB Easton Stick will likely rely on Ekeler as a dependable pass-catching running back, so take the Over on his combined rushing and receiving yards in Week 15.

NFL Week 15 Prediction: Austin Ekeler Over 77.5 rushing yards (-115)

Denver Broncos at Detroit Lions: Don’t believe the hype, Denver’s still a dud

The Broncos have been a frustrating team to watch this season. Denver started the season with five losses in their first six games then won six of their next seven. Playing on the road in Detroit seems like a reality check game for Russell Wilson and co. Wilson hasn’t put up big numbers even when the Broncos are winning. He passed for 224 or more yards just four times in 13 games this season and that’s with Denver’s defence ranking first in the NFL in turnovers which has led to the offence consistently starting with great field position, where they rank second in the league. You can expect a bounce-back performance for the Lions after losing to Chicago last week, so count on Detroit’s defence stifling Wilson.

NFL Week 15 Prediction: Russell Wilson Under 223.5 passing yards

Baltimore Ravens at Jacksonville Jaguars: Lawrence and the Jags limping into Week 15

Jacksonville is only a game up on the Colts for top spot in the AFC South division, so you can expect quarterback Trevor Lawrence to keep playing despite suffering an ankle injury in Week 13. Lawrence and the Jags dropped their second game in a row last week in Cleveland, but Lawrence still managed to throw for 257 yards and three TDs, although he also threw three interceptions. For better or worse, Jacksonville’s offensive game plan completely relies on Lawrence throwing the ball and oddsmakers are giving you a good number on his passing yards because of the ankle injury. Lawrence has thrown for more than 240 yards in eight of 13 games this season, including his last four. He’s already proven he can fight through the ankle injury, so we’re riding with the Over on Lawrence’s passing yards total.

NFL Week 15 Prediction: Trevor Lawrence Over 223.5 passing yards

Philadelphia Eagles at Seattle Seahawks: Battle of the birds

The Eagles have been humbled in back-to-back losses against San Francisco and Dallas, but they still have a chance to win the NFC East with a fairly easy schedule to close out the regular season. DeVonta Smith has been a huge part of Philadelphia’s 10-3 record all year, but he’s heating up even more over the last month or so, posting 96 or more receiving yards in four of his last six games while hauling in four TDs during that span. Seattle’s pass defence is ranked 25th in the NFL (allowing 243.6 passing yards per game), so Smith and a motivated Eagles squad have a great opportunity to pick apart the Seahawks in Week 15.

NFL Week 15 Prediction: DeVonta Smith Over 58.5 receiving yards
