Among the Canadian contingent at Wimbledon, Felix Auger-Aliassime has been flying solo since the third round. Competition has moved into the quarterfinals and Auger-Aliassime is still going strong, playing his way into a showdown against Novak Djokovic.

Other players taking the court on Tuesday include Jannik Sinner, Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula and Naomi Osaka. Let’s break down the odds for some of the Wimbledon quarterfinals matchups and discuss the best bets to make.

Wimbledon quarterfinals – Felix Auger-Aliassime vs. Novak Djokovic best bet: Over 40.5 games (-110)

Auger-Aliassime is only a slight underdog on Tuesday – and as the odds suggest, this should be a competitive contest. The world No. 4 made a recent run to the French Open quarterfinals. This is his second Wimbledon quarterfinal appearance and he is a two-time U.S. Open semifinalist. In other words, Auger-Aliassime knows what he is doing on the big stage.

Djokovic is playing well, but he is not exactly in dominant form. The 39-year-old Serb did not play any grass-court events in between the French Open and Wimbledon and he has dropped a set in three of his four matches so far this fortnight. Djokovic needed a fourth-set tiebreaker to get past Arthur Rinderknech on Friday.

Auger-Aliassime is also no stranger to relative marathons on grass. He is coming off a five-setter against Alejandro Davidovich Fokina on Sunday and all three of his matches in Halle a couple of weeks ago went to a deciding set – including two that required final-set tiebreakers.

Wimbledon quarterfinals – Jessica Pegula vs. Coco Gauff best bet: Pegula -1.5 games (-120)

Gauff may be the bigger name as a two-time Grand Slam champion and former No. 2 player in the world, but Pegula is favoured for a reason. The 32-year-old American is in superior form right now and is the better grass-court player. This is Pegula’s second trip to the Wimbledon quarterfinals and she has won two WTA 500 titles on grass. She also finished runner-up on the lawns of Berlin a couple of weeks ago. So far at the All-England Club, Pegula has dropped only one set (to Iva Jovic on Sunday) and has dominated three of her sets by 6-1 scorelines.

Gauff, on the other hand, has played a trio of three-setters in succession. The seventh-ranked American even needed a third-set tiebreaker to escape Solana Sierra in round two. This is Gauff’s first appearance in the Wimbledon quarterfinals and she has never reached a single grass-court final.

Pegula leads their head-to-head series 5-3 and has won four of their last six meetings, including their most recent grass-court contest in straight sets at the 2024 Berlin tournament.

Wimbledon quarterfinals – Karolina Muchova vs. Naomi Osaka best bet: Osaka ML (-125)

Osaka had previously advanced to a Grand Slam quarterfinal five times in her career. She went on to win the entire tournament on four of those occasions. The bottom line is that when Osaka makes it this far, more often than not she goes all the way. That is surely part of the reason why the 28-year-old from Japan is now the odds-on favourite to lift the trophy (Aryna Sabalenka, Elena Rybakina, Iga Swiatek and Mirra Andreeva all being out of the tournament also helps). Osaka was especially impressive during a 6-2, 7-6(2) victory over Sabalenka on Sunday.

Muchova is coming off a very tough three-setter against 2024 Wimbledon champion Barbora Krejcikova. The 29-year-old Czech has lost two of her last three matchups against Osaka, and her lone win during this stretch has come via a retirement (Osaka was injured in the Bad Homburg final earlier this summer).
