Toronto Raptors vs. Indiana Pacers Prediction, NBA Odds
The Raptors make a quick one-game road trip and visit Indianapolis for the final time this season on Wednesday night against the Pacers, who are on their longest winning streak of the season but still among the league’s worst teams. Toronto is -2.5 on the NBA odds with a total of 222.5.
Raptors vs. Pacers NBA Betting Odds
The NBA draft class of 2026 is expected to be one of the best in recent memory, so expect a lot of teams to follow Indiana’s lead and tank big time. But look out next season when the Pacers add that potential high draft pick or a possible veteran via trade from it along with the return of superstar Tyrese Haliburton from serious injury. Right now it’s essentially former Raptor Pascal Siakam and not much else.
Indiana is not whole currently with starting guard Bennedict Mathurin and reserve bigs Isaiah Jackson and Obi Toppin out injured. Mathurin was having a nice year, putting up 17.8 points and 5.5 rebounds per. He has missed five straight with a thumb injury.
Wednesday marks the third of four regular season meetings between the clubs with the finale on Feb. 8 at Scotiabank Arena. The Raptors won each of the first two, by 18 in Indianapolis and by two at home. Brandon Ingram is averaging 22.5 points in the two games and Scottie Barnes 19.0 points and 10.5 rebounds. Siakam is averaging 20.5 points against his former club in the two and Andrew Nembhard 15.5 points.
Toronto is 6-4 SU & ATS in the past 10 meetings, and the over-under is 6-3-1.
Toronto Raptors
It’s always tough to sweep a home-and-home or even a home/home set in the NBA regular season, which the Raptors learned Monday. They beat visiting Philadelphia in OT on Sunday, but 24 hours later the Sixers rolled 115-102 at Scotiabank Arena.
Both Joel Embiid and Paul George played Monday after not Sunday and they certainly made a difference. Philadelphia’s 80 first-half points were the most by a Raptors opponent this season.
Brandon Ingram returned after missing the past two and had a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds. It was his first double-double since Jan. 31, 2024 at Houston. Scottie Barnes, named Eastern Conference Player of the Week for last week on Monday, had 15 points and passed Jonas Valanciunas for ninth on Toronto’s all-time scoring list.
However, RJ Barrett, Jakob Poeltl and Ja’Kobe Walter all sat with injuries. They all will again tonight, and Sandro Mamukelashvili is questionable.
The Dinos have played exactly half their regular-season slate and have 14 more wins than they did through 41 games last season. The team is 11-8 on the road compared to 1-18 halfway through last season. Toronto is 6-3 ATS in its past nine overall.
Indiana Pacers
Indiana is on a season-high three-game winning streak after a 98-96 home win over Boston on Monday – the Celtics were without leading scorer and MVP candidate Jaylen Brown.
Former Raptor Pascal Siakam scored 21 points, including the decisive 7-foot bank shot with 6.1 seconds remaining. Siakam has now made three game-winning shots so far this season, also against the Hornets on Jan. 8 and vs the Bulls on Nov. 29. Siakam is leading the Pacers in points (23.6 per game), rebounds (6.8) and steals (1.3) per game. He has played in 39 of 40 Pacers games this season, the most by any regular Indiana starter.
Centre Jay Huff, who has been a nice surprise, tied his season high with 20 points on Monday. He’s second in the NBA in blocks per game at 2.1 per. The journeyman barely played for his previous four teams the past four seasons. Indiana is 4-1 ATS in its past five.
