Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Golden State Warriors Prediction, NBA Odds
The 2025-26 NBA regular season has already had plenty of action, and we have another great day of hoops across the association tonight. One of the more intriguing matchups on the slate features the Oklahoma City Thunder and Golden State Warriors in a battle between two Western Conference teams that are both eyeing deep postseason runs this spring.
With tip-off set at 11 p.m. ET, let’s get into the odds and betting trends, plus my predictions for this highly anticipated contest.
Thunder vs. Warriors NBA Betting Odds
These teams were expected to be among the best in the Western Conference this season, but Oklahoma City has shown itself to be not only the much better team in this game but the premier team in the NBA by a wide margin. The Thunder have been absolutely rolling and carry a 20-1 record heading into this one. The odds point to OKC in this game, as the Thunder are 11.5-point road favourites on the NBA odds, along with a posted total of 228.5.
Oklahoma City was an against-the-spread darling last year, but the Thunder are just 10-11 against the number this season. On the other side, the Warriors are also 10-11 against the spread, and they have struggled at home against the number lately.
Oklahoma City Thunder
The defending champions have more than looked the part to this point, and that shouldn’t be a surprise given that Oklahoma City was expected to win 65+ games coming into the season. The Thunder won the first eight games of the campaign before falling to Portland for their first loss last week. Since that point, Oklahoma City has rattled off 12 straight wins and looks like it could set the new record for regular-season wins at this pace.
It appears that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Thunder have maintained their excellent defence and competitive edge even after winning a title. As long as the Thunder put forth a solid team effort in this one, the floor of this team is high enough that they should win this contest comfortably on the road.
Golden State Warriors
The Warriors got off to a strong start this season, but things have been going downhill for Golden State ever since. In fact, the Warriors have dropped four of their last six games, including a recent contest against the Rockets in which Steph Curry picked up an injury that will sideline him for this contest.
Without Curry, the Golden State offence falls off a cliff, and he’ll be sorely missed on Tuesday against an Oklahoma City defence that is the best unit in basketball by a decent margin. It could be a slog for the Warriors in this one.
NBA Prediction: Who Will Win Thunder vs. Warriors?
This would ordinarily be a pretty compelling matchup on paper, given the teams involved, but it’s hard to see any team with an injury to its best player compete against a purely dominant force on the other side. Even though the Warriors have been pesky underdogs this season, especially at home, Oklahoma City should roll through Golden State, provided that the Thunder play with focus and intention.
Look for Oklahoma City to win by a convincing margin, and it wouldn’t shock me at all if this one got ugly early. The Thunder win this one 118-102.
