Broncos vs. Titans Point Spread: NFL Week 10 Odds, Prediction
Tannehill’s missed two straight games with an ankle injury, and Malik Willis completed 11 passes combined in his two relief appearances at quarterback for Tennessee. The 5-3 Titans have instead relied heavily on running back Derrick Henry, who’s back atop the NFL rushing leaders with 870 yards.
The 3-5 Broncos had last weekend off after returning from London where they beat Jacksonville 21-17. The win broke a four-game skid for Denver who are still multiple games outside a playoff spot.
Kickoff at Nissan Stadium starts at 1 p.m. EST and it’s the home Titans favoured at -2.5 on the spread and the over-under at 37 on the NFL odds.
NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis
The Titans have been one of the most profitable teams against the spread this season with ATS wins in six of their eight outings. Denver’s been the opposite, covering in thee of their eight contests. Back-to-back Malik Willis starts for the Titans easily cashed two under tickets, as the Titans are now 6-2 to the under on the year. Denver’s an even stronger under team at 7-1.
Head-to-head, the Broncos have covered in seven of their last eight meetings with the Titans but Tennessee’s on a six-game win streak when it comes to covering the spread. The under is also 4-1 in the last five Denver-Tennessee meetings.
Denver Broncos
The Broncos rank second in both yards (288.4) and points (16.5). It’s a unit that’s come as advertised, unlike Denver’s bottom-three scoring offence. Through seven outings Russell Wilson is averaging 242 yards per game and has six touchdown passes. For those wondering, the six TD passes puts Wilson 25th in the NFL in that category, tied with Baker Mayfield.
The Broncos have held their opponents to under 20 points in four straight games, yet are 1-3 in that timespan. Wilson and the Broncos offence continued to utilize a new weapon in their most recent appearance as tight end Greg Dulcich led the team with 87 receiving yards. The production was a career-high for the 2022 third-round pick. Dulcich now has 182 yards and a touchdown over his past three games.
Tennessee Titans
When you complete 11 passes in two games, you better hope your running back can run for 300-plus yards and four scores in that same timeframe. Luckily for Tennessee that’s exactly what Henry managed to do and the Titans nearly came away with two wins. Even getting Kansas City to overtime on the road last week was an impressive feat, as Tennessee entered the final frame up 17-9.
This season the Titans are the prime example of bend but don’t break on defence. Tennessee’s 22nd in the NFL with 363.3 yards allowed per game, but a top-10 defence in points allowed with 19.8 per outing. The bad news is seven Titans starters on defence appeared on their injury report Wednesday, headlined by defensive end Jeffery Simmons (ankle, did not practice) and leading tackler David Long Jr. (knee, limited participant).
