Utah Jazz vs. Los Angeles Clippers Game 6 Prediction, Playoff Odds
After watching Donovan Mitchell dominate the first two games of the series, the Jazz have lost the last three and were sent to the brink with a 119-111 loss in Game 5 that was fueled by 37 points from Clippers star Paul George.

Utah is still expected to extend this series to a seventh and deciding game, at least in the eyes of the sportsbooks. The Jazz come in as a 1.5-point favourite and have the backing of the majority of Sports Interaction customers, who are siding with the visitors at a 72-percent clip. But the Jazz have struggled to cover against the Clippers overall, having gone 1-4-1 ATS in the previous six head-to-head meetings between the Western Conference rivals.
The total betting is even more one-sided, with 86 percent of Sports Interaction respondents taking the O219 at -110. And that’s not the least bit surprising: 219 is the lowest total of a series that has seen each of the first five games produce more than 220 points. The Over is a sizzling 8-2 in the Jazz’s 10 postseason games, while the Clippers have surpassed the total in four of their last six dating back to their first-round series-clinching win over Dallas.

The fate of Utah’s postseason run might very well rest on the injury statuses of Mitchell and fellow guard Mike Conley, who are both listed as questionable for Friday. Conley continues to recover from a hamstring injury that has kept him out for the entire series, while Mitchell is a new addition to the injury report with a sore right ankle – an injury that knocked him out for the final 16 games of the regular season.

The Clippers have their own injury woes, with mega-star Kawhi Leonard expected to miss the remainder of the series with a knee injury. But that didn’t stop the Clippers from taking control of the series, thanks in large part to George; he shot 12-of-22 from the field and 10-of-11 from the foul line while adding 16 rebounds and five assists in one of his most complete games of the season. He had plenty of help, too, with the starting lineup scoring a combined 106 points.
