Philadelphia Flyers vs. Vancouver Canucks Prediction, NHL Odds

Tuesday night in the NHL brings us an intra-conference battle between the Philadelphia Flyers and Vancouver Canucks. These opponents played roughly a week ago in Philadelphia, where the Flyers dominated in a 5-2 win.

Vancouver will look to return the favour in front of their home fans. The NHL odds board has the Canucks as +110 underdogs with Philadelphia at -135.

Flyers vs. Canucks NHL Betting Odds

The Flyers and Canucks meet twice per season as teams from different conferences. The Flyers have won six of the last eight contests, dating back to 2021. Against the spread (ATS), the Flyers are an impressive 25-12 this season, and Vancouver is 18-20. In the game totals, the Flyers are 18-18-1 to the Over, while the Canucks are 21-15-2.

In the goal-scoring department, Trevor Zegras (+210) and Travis Konecny (+220) have the shortest odds for the Flyers, while Elias Pettersson (+220) and Brock Boeser (+240) lead the charge for Vancouver.

Philadelphia Flyers

At 19-11-7, the Flyers are just six points away from the lead of the Metropolitan Division, with one game in hand over the currently-leading Carolina Hurricanes. A strong showing like this may not have been expected from this team, but they look solid and show no signs of slowing. Coming off a poor regulation loss, expect a much better effort to return to a recent run that saw them earn points in eight of nine games (4-1-4).

The Flyers are quite healthy, only missing 10-goal scorer Tyson Foerster, who will be out for approximately five months. They are well within range of the lead of not only the Metropolitan Division, but the Eastern Conference.

Vancouver Canucks

The new era without superstar defenceman Quinn Hughes continues for the Vancouver Canucks. They are 16-19-3 which has them one point away from dead last in the entire NHL with just 35 of a possible 76 points.

While they may be on home ice, Vancouver is playing in its second game in as many nights, while the Flyers haven’t played since Sunday. I expect more wheels from Philadelphia tonight, which could set things off the rails early for Vancouver. The Canucks remain without Filip Chytil, Teddy Blueger, and Derek Forbort.

NHL Prediction: Who Will Win Flyers vs. Canucks?

I am taking the Philadelphia Flyers in this one. Even on the road, they have had a day of rest and have far more to play for in the standings.
