Adam Lowry is the New Winnipeg Jets Captain

A bit like the Vancouver Canucks, the Jets spent a portion of the 2022-2023 season without an official leader. Blake Wheeler had filled that role, but he was removed from the title midway through the campaign. Wheeler is now with the New York Rangers.

Jets fans know Lowry well. The St. Louis native has spent his entire nine-year career with the franchise. In 621 games he’s tallied 93 goals and 111 assists for a total of 204 points. His +/- is +15. He played in all 82 of the club’s matches last year, only the second time in his career he accomplished the feat.

The Winnipeg Jets are looking to rebound from an early playoff elimination at the hands of the eventual Stanley Cup champions Vegas Golden Knights. They finished with a record of 46-33-3, good for fourth in the Central Division.
