Denver Nuggets vs. Golden State Warriors Game 5 Prediction, NBA Odds
The loss ended an eight-game winning streak for Golden State and was the fourth-straight time this series that 230 total points were scored. The winning team in each game has scored at least 118 points too, as superstars Nikola Jokić and Steph Curry have both come to play for their respective squads.
Tip-off at Chase Center Wednesday goes at 10 p.m. EDT with Golden State a nine-point favourite and the over-under at 226 on the NBA odds.

With another 247 points scored in Game 4, the over advanced to 4-0 this series and Denver covered for the first time. The over has now connecting in six of the last seven Nuggets–Warriors contests and is 6-1 in Denver’s last seven road games.

Jokić is now second in points, fourth in rebounds, and 12th in assists these NBA playoffs. It’s been the Jokić show all season in Denver but in Game 4 he got some better help, and a best ending was the result.
Point guard Monte Morris and forward Aaron Gordon both went over 20 points in Game 4, scoring 24 and 21 respectively including a five for seven three-point shooting night from Morris. The Nuggets also got a 15-point, seven-assist showing from guard Bones Hyland off the bench. As a team, the Nuggets shot 15 for 31 from three — something that’s needed to keep up with Golden State.
Golden State Warriors
Curry continues to come off the bench, and continues to lead Golden State in scoring this post-season. His 33 points, eight assists, and four steals weren’t enough in Game 4 but it’s safe to say any worries about Curry’s health are gone — but it may be best for head coach Steve Kerr to continue to deploy his star shooter off the bench.
The other splash brother, Klay Thompson, was on fire from deep Sunday going seven for 11 from three and finishing with 32 points. Curry and Thompson are now first and second on the Warriors in playoff scoring, combining for over 50 points an outing. Jordan Poole is also averaging 24.3 points per game through four playoff contests.
