EPL Liverpool vs. Arsenal best bet: Draw (+240)

Fourth-place Liverpool may only be +195 home underdogs here, but the Reds are more than fired up to take on last season’s English champions after finishing a spectacular result last weekend.

Last weekend’s matchup against Brighton saw the Reds close out a 2-0 shutout victory despite being outshot 11 to 16 and out-possessed 64 per cent to 36 per cent. After a 17′ shot from Florian Wirtz, which was deflected goalward from the Seagulls’ Pascal Gross (OG), Alexander Isak tucked away the insurance goal to secure the win. Alisson Becker claimed his fourth shutout of the season.

The Reds hold strong in fourth place with 15 points, overtaking Chelsea last week, as they now prepare for their next toughest test of the season.

After bagging his sixth goal in seven games, Alexander Isak makes way as Liverpool’s top likely goalscorer of the night at +210, with winger Bradley Barcola not far behind at +300.

As for the Gunners, Mikel Arteta’s side continue to cruise through teams, as the side earned their fifth shutout of the Premier League season last weekend.

Arsenal’s most recent endeavour features a comfortable 2-0 win over Everton, with Ezri Konsa opening the scoring in the 7′ off a corner kick scramble. In the second half, Gabriel Magalhaes put the game to bed with a backpost header as the Gunners only managed three chances on target with 18 shots overall.

Kai Havertz rivals Isak in odds to score in this fixture at +210, with two to his name already this season, as both Eze and Noni Madueke rally as the next highest goalscorers at +400 each.

While this one matchup is marked for Anfield territory, Arteta’s men are featured as +130 away favourites, and a win here would be monumental for first place, considering City must overcome Brighton this weekend.

Both Liverpool and Arsenal rep positive GDs, both with single-digit goals allowed this season. They’ve drawn three times in their last five meetings against each other, and with just how tactical this match lines up to be, this one’s set for a +240 draw by the end of 90′.

EPL Chelsea vs. Manchester United best bet: Chelsea -1.5 (+200)

Chelsea’s preeminence this EPL season was swiftly halted last weekend in one of the largest upsets we have seen in the domestic league so far.

Last Saturday, the Blues clashed with Tottenham for London Derby bragging rights, but were silenced completely in a 2-0 shutout, with the Spurs stealing two late goals (one OG), to secure their second straight win of the season. Cole Palmer was also shown a red card from consecutive bookings and missed out on the EFL Cup exit to Liverpool on penalties.

Chelsea now holds on to fifth place with 13 points, as they now face another gruesome challenge against the Red Devils. Xabi Alonso’s men are, however, still -140 favourites at Stamford Bridge.

Joao Pedro leads the charge in odds to score anytime in this fixture at +120 after recording five so far this season, with the midfield centrepiece Cole Palmer following his teammate at +130.

As for Michael Carrick’s squad, United have appeared to fall off considerably since mid-September for a current 16th-place standing in the league.

Last weekend, the Red Devils suffered another horrid 3-0 loss to Bournemouth, marking their third loss domestically, and their fifth loss in all competitions. The side has now allowed 11 goals in their last five straight games, and haven’t won a match for the last eight straight.

The side has also faced difficulties in scoring, with just three goals scored in their last five consecutive Premier League matchups, all of which ended in 1-1 draws.

Bryan Mbeumo holds his partial in-form status after scoring in two of his last three EPL matchups, as he comes in as United’s most likely goalscorer at +240 odds, followed by captain Bruno Fernendes and Matheus Cunha at +275.

Rayan Cherki to score anytime (+220) in Manchester City vs. Brighton

The talented French attacking midfielder hasn’t struck gold for the last two straight games, but has clearly showcased his capabilities with six already in all competitions, four in the Premier League.

In one of City’s most vital matchups this season, Cherki is more than capable of stepping up and chopping through Brighton’s defensive lines to give his team the edge. Expect the Sky Blues number 10 to do some damage in this one and score a crucial fifth goal of the EPL season.
