St. Louis Blues
St. Louis lost for the fifth time in six games Saturday, 7-2 vs. Carolina. Ville Husso (16-6-4, 2.43 GAA, .922 SV) stopped 21 of 26 shots, and the Hurricanes scored two empty-net goals when Husso was pulled with 5:30 to play. The Finn has largely been great this season but has now surrendered at least four goals in two of his last three starts. Pavel Buchnevich had two goals and is up to 21 on the year. David Perron had an eight-game point streak (10 goals, four assists) snapped Saturday. He still has 13 goals in the past 12 games. Defenceman Tory Krug (8G, 27A) likely will remain out with an upper-body injury. The Blues are 6-2 in their past eight following a loss of at least three goals.
