While teams like the Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles have earned more headlines, the Seattle Seahawks have quietly won four straight and are back atop the NFC West. They’ll have an excellent chance of extending their winning streak against a Washington team that is limping into this game both figuratively and literally.

Washington vs. Seattle Seahawks

Point Spread: Seattle -7

Date: Sunday November 5th, 2017 – 4:05 PM ET

Location: CenturyLink Field, Seattle, Washington

 Point Spread And Betting Analysis

The Seahawks opened up at -7 -105 on the NFL odds board but the line has jumped up to -7 -115. The early action has been on the Seahawks as 67 percent of the early bets have come in on them.

The Seahawks improved to 5-2 last week but they are still just 3-4 against the spread this season. Meanwhile, Washington is 3-4 straight up but is 2-5 against the spread this season.

Washington

The lack of healthy bodies along the Washington offensive line really limited what they were able to do in last week’s 33-19 loss to Dallas. They will face an even tougher test this week on the road in Seattle. Kirk Cousins completed 26-of-39 pass attempts for 263 yards and a touchdown with an interception. He was also sacked four times. Wide receivers Josh Doctson and Terrelle Pryor Sr. combined for just one catch for one yard and one touchdown against the Cowboys. While a lot of the offensive struggles could be blamed on the offensive line play, the bottom line is that the receivers need to be better.

Overall, Washington has lost three of four, giving up at least 24 points in each of those four contests. This club is struggling on defense, at wide receiver and struggling to stay healthy. This doesn’t seem like a good spot for Washington supporters.

 Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks offense has made improvements in each of the last two weeks while scoring a combined 65 points in back-to-back wins over the New York Giants and Texans. Russell Wilson threw for 452 yards and four touchdowns with one pick in the win over Houston. He will need to continue his improved play versus Washington on Sunday.

One area that Seattle needs to improve is the running game, which has been absolutely awful this season. The Seahawks are ranked 21st in rushing yards per game but if you subtract Russell Wilson’s 27.7, they’d rank 31st in that category. The good news is the Redskins have struggled to stop the run of late. After giving up just 440 rushing yards in their first five games, they’ve allowed 296 in their last two. If Seattle’s able to run the ball with any consistently, they’ll roll to an easy win on Sunday.

 Washington vs. Seattle Seahawks Prediction:

 Seattle 28, Washington 7
