Titans vs. Browns Point Spread: NFL Week 7 Odds, Prediction

Here’s a stat…the Browns haven’t won a game in 302 days (at kickoff)…that’s hard to do, and they will have a chance stop that mark this Sunday afternoon as they host the visiting Tennessee Titans. The Titans enter this game as a touchdown favorite coming off a win on Monday night.

Point Spread and Betting Analysis

These two teams have met four times since 2011, with both teams claiming two victories. The last time they met was last year, where the Titans edged the Browns in Tennessee 28-26. In that game, Marcus Mariota threw three touchdowns passes in the victory. The Titans are entering this game on limited rest (playing on Monday night) and are 7-19 ATS in their last 26 road games.

Tennessee Titans

Remember the Titans? They were a favorite in the NFC South and now find themselves 3-3 on the season (3-3 ATS) and in a three way tie for first place thanks to Monday Night. Marcus Mariota nursing a hamstring injury, helped guide the Titans to 21 fourth quarter points, also throwing for 306 yards and a touchdown as the Titans upended the Colts 36-22.

On the defensive side of the ball the Titans have not been very good through 6 games. Currently ranked 31st in points allowed (27.3) this team has been very easy to score on this season.

Cleveland Browns

The Browns enter this game with a 0-6 record (1-5 ATS) after getting blasted by the Houston Texans 33-17. This team simply cannot play offence, currently 25th in total yards (308.3), 23rd in passing yards (211.7), 21st in rushing yards (96.7) and 31st (15.7) in points scored. Last week starter DeShone Kizer was benched in favor of backup Kevin Hogan. Hogan then struggled in his first NFL start, going 20/37 for 140 yards and three interceptions.

Maybe the only thing positive about the season to date is the play of the defence, currently ranked 8th (310.7) and the play of rookie Myles Garrett, who appears to be a future cornerstone of the franchise. Back to the bad news, the Browns are 1-21 in 22 games with Head Coach Hue Jackson on the sidelines.
