Seahawks vs. Rams Point Spread: NFL Week 11 Odds, Prediction

First place in the NFC West standings will be up for grabs on Sunday afternoon, when the Los Angeles Rams play host to the Seattle Seahawks in NFL Week 11 betting action at SoFi Stadium.

The Seahawks remained deadlocked with the Rams atop the divisional standings with identical 7-2 records after rolling to a lopsided 44-22 win over Arizona last weekend, and have now won seven of eight contests including four straight on the road.

The Rams return home after extending their current win to four games with last week’s 42-26 rout of the San Francisco 49ers but have won just two of their past three on home turf.

The Rams have emerged as s slender 3-point favourites on the NFL Week 11 odds. The Seahawks trail as +140 underdogs on the NFL moneyline, and the total is listed at 48.5.

NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis

Sunday’s matchup marks the first meeting of the season between these NFC West rivals. These teams split a pair of games last season, with the road team claiming victory in each, capped by the Seahawks’ 30-25 victory in LA in Week 18.

However, the Rams hold the edge in recent head-to-head contests, winning their previous three dates with Seattle, claiming the win in 11 of 16 clashes since December 2017.

The Rams have also been a reliable bet when facing the Seahawks, covering the spread in 11 of their past 13 dates with Seattle including a 5-1 ATS record in their past six on home turf.

These teams have also regularly engaged in low-scoring affairs, with last season’ Week 18 matchup marking the first time they have combined to score more than 50 total points in 12 meetings, with the total going OVER 45 just four times over that stretch. Accordingly, the UNDER has paid out in four of their past five tilts and has gone 9-3 in their past 12.

Seattle Seahawks

If there were any doubts about whether Sam Darnold could follow up on his sensational performance last season leading the Vikings, they have certainly been silenced. The 28-year-old pivot has played a central role in the Seahawks’ rise to the top of the standings tossing for 2,262 yards and connecting on 17 touchdown passes

. Darnold has also completed over 82 per cent of pass attempts three times over the past five games. Now faced with arguably his toughest opponent so far this season, Darnold has work to do after throwing INTs in each of the past three games.

In addition to sporting attractive -120 odds to throw for OVER 1.5 touchdowns for the fourth time in five road dates, his favourite target Jaxon Smith-Njigba should be backed as a +125 bet to be an anytime TD scorer. However, Darnold should also be taken as a +100 value bet to toss at least one pick on Sunday.

Los Angeles Rams

Matthew Stafford extended his recent dominating run in last week’s 42-26 demolition of the Niners, tossing for four touchdowns. The ageless wonder has found a higher gear as the season has progressed, and has now found the end zone on 13 occasions over the past three games while avoiding getting intercepted.

However, with the Rams receiving corps hobbled by injuries, duplicating his recent exploits could be a challenge. The status of receivers Davante Adams and Jordan Whittington for Sunday is in question after missing time at practice and landing on the injury report.

That could mean a bigger assignment for Puka Nacua, who has been targeted on just 17 times in total over the past three games. Nacua has made those targets count with scoring catches in each of his past two outings and is worth a value wager as a -115 bet to record OVER 7.5 receptions on Sunday.
