Rams vs. Ravens Point Spread: NFL Week 14 Odds, Prediction

The Rams joined a four-way tie for the No. 6 seed in the NFC, alongside Minnesota, Green Bay, and Seattle, with last weekend’s decisive 36-9 win over Cleveland, but come up short against the Vikings and Packers on tiebreakers. The Ravens enjoyed a bye in Week 13 after rolling to a 20-10 win over the Los Angeles Chargers two weeks ago, and have built a two-game lead atop the divisional standings while winning six of their past seven games.

The Ravens return from their Week 13 bye perched as lofty 7.5-point home favourites on the NFL Week 14 odds. The Rams sit well off the pace as +275 underdogs on the NFL moneyline, and the total is pegged at 40.

NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis

The Ravens return to action sporting the NFL’s leading ground game, and are perched among the league leaders with 27.0 points per game after scoring 31 or more points in five of their past six contests. However, defensive letdowns in their recent dates with Cleveland and Arizona have left the squad with uneven results at the sportsbook, where they have gone just 3-2 against the spread over their past three contests and failed to cover in three straight games this season. However, Baltimore has consistently risen to the occasions when facing NFC squads, winning seven in a row since October 2022, and limiting opponents to nine or fewer points in four of their past five.

After overcoming some recent health issues, including an injury to quarterback Matthew Stafford, the Rams offence exploded over the past two games, racking up 73 total points in their victories over the Browns and Arizona. The LA defence has also settled down considerably after allowing over 28 points per game in a preceding 0-3 run, giving up just 16.3 points per game while winning their past three. However, this team has struggled to maintain consistency on the road while going 3-3 SU this season, and it remains to be seen how their revitalized passing game will fare if the game time weather forecast calling for rain is accurate.

Los Angeles Rams

Matthew Stafford has clearly put his injury woes behind him during the Rams’ current surge. The veteran pivot has tossed for seven touchdowns over the past two games after throwing for one or no scores in eight of his previous nine appearances. However, Stafford might be dealing with a shorthanded receiving corps on Sunday.

Both Puka Nacua and Tyler Higbee have missed time at practice this week due to injury, and their absence from Sunday’s game would be a huge blow considering they have combined to make four scoring catches during the team’s 3-0 run. Fortunately, Cooper Kupp looks to have overcome his recent health woes after making six catches for 39 yards and one score last weekend, but has failed to find the end zone so far this season.

Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens had hoped to return from their bye week healthy and well rested, but face a pair of serious health concerns as the weekend approaches. Quarterback Lamar Jackson and receiver Rashod Bateman were forced to miss Thursday practice with an undisclosed illness. Jackson was already struggling to maintain his elite numbers before entering last weekend’s bye, completing just 58 per cent of pass attempts for jut four touchdowns against two picks over the past three games, with Bateman making one of those catches.

If Jackson is limited or unavailable for Sunday, the Ravens backfield duo of Gus Edwards and Keaton Mitchell face the tough task of picking up the slack against a Rams rush defence that has allowed just two scoring runs over the past five games and limited opposing ball carriers to just 76 rushing yards per game over the past three games.
