Patriots vs. Giants Point Spread: NFL Pre-Season Week 3 Odds, Prediction

The regular season continues to creep up, and it is time for Week 3 of the 2025 Preseason – take a look at the most recent NFL preseason odds at Sports Interaction. Excitement is on the rise as we get closer to an official kickoff, and each team begins to take shape.

One game within Week 3 is a battle between the New England Patriots and New York Giants. These teams are at similar points within their organization, as their years of Super Bowl contention are long gone, and they are in the process of rebuilding. This should be a great NFL matchup on Thursday.

NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis

The two squads have had strong success in the preseason, sporting 2-0 records. However, there is one clear favourite in this contest, the New York Giants, who are the 6.5-point favourite. They are the home team in this game, which always helps, but their -280 money line value seems expensive. The Patriots come in at +230 on the money line.

The game totals are set above average at 38.0, which isn’t a surprise, as both teams have been slinging. The Patriots are averaging 34.0 points per game this preseason, while the Giants are putting up 32.5 PPG. We are unlikely to see this offensive explosion from these teams this season, but they have been balling out this preseason.

New England Patriots

New England’s influx of young talent and the organization’s roster spot availability have resulted in a strong product on the field. Everyone seems hungry, and the organization is off to a hot start this preseason.

There is a lot to be excited about in New England. Even though they still have more work to do, the team is moving in the right direction.

New York Giants

New York has an interesting QB room composed of veterans Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston, as well as the 25th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Jaxson Dart. They have all played in both preseason games and have honestly looked quite strong.

There hasn’t been a lot to cheer for in New York as of late. Giants fans can only hope that this glimmer of hope can continue into the regular season.

NFL Prediction: Who Will Win Patriots vs. Giants?

One team has to lose for the first time in the preseason in this game, and while the odds show a clear favourite, I think this will be a close finish.

With how well these teams have been playing offensively, we will be in for another high-scoring affair. I really like each QB room, as there are competent and familiar faces in each. Starting offensive players will make more of a mark in this finale, and I expect both offenses to ball out.

New York’s defense has looked okay, and I am not worried about New England’s stellar defensive play (15.0 points allowed per game). Their suffocating play will not last forever, especially against a team that is really feeling itself.
