NFL Week 3 Weather Report: Floridian showers await Dolphins and Broncos
Compared to the first two weekends of action, the upcoming third looks to be the kindest towards the giants of the gridiron. “Hot and humid” in Jacksonville is to be expected, so forecasts such as that don’t concern us here. But where does the climate carry the potential to be a hurdle for both the home and away clubs?

NFL Week 3 Weather Report
Denver Broncos at Miami Dolphins
Hot and humid in Florida is one thing. 70 per cent chance of rain throughout the entire afternoon is another. This could make for a sloppy game. Despite losing twice already, Denver has kept its games very close. Given the unfavourable weather for outdoor sports, it could prove to be a turning point in a slippery, close contest.
New England Patriots at New York Jets
For the second time in three weeks, MetLife stadium will host a football game under dark clouds and on a wet surface. The region is expected to receive 63 per cent rain on Sunday afternoon. That percentage holds from kick-off to late afternoon. Both teams are accustomed to facing all sorts of climates, so this will be a matter of who is better prepared on Sunday.
Philadelphia Eagles at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
While not as wet as the previously referenced contests, some precipitation is expected in the Tampa region. The early Monday night game runs the risk of featuring some rain, with 50 per cent of the region covered in drops flirting all night long.
