NFL Week 2 Weather Report: Rain Could Dip Jets vs. Titans Total

Overall, it must be said that the cities with outdoor stadiums hosting Week 2 matches don’t run the risk of experiencing as much turbulence as in Week 1. For one thing, winds will be much calmer everywhere. The worst that some games have to worry about is some rain.

Buffalo Bills vs Miami Dolphins (thunderstorms)

Thursday is going to be a wet day in Miami. Thunderstorms are expected to cover 50 per cent of the region. Of course, games are delayed when storms erupt, but the field might be slippery before and after any potential stoppages.

New York Jets vs. Tennessee Titans (rain)

Nashville doesn’t run the risk of experiencing a storm, but it looks as though it will be a wet afternoon. Up to 58 per cent of the area is supposed to receive precipitation, a percentage that remains stable throughout the contest that begins at 1 pm. If that’s the case keep an eye on this total. It’s already on the low side having slipped from 42 to 41 and might drop further before kickoff.

Cleveland Browns vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (thunderstorms)

Like Miami, Jacksonville might be forced to hide away from a thunderstorm on Sunday afternoon. Up to 47 per cent of the region might be affected. That percentage is expected to remain stable throughout the day.

Los Angeles Chargers vs. Carolina Panthers (slight rain)

This one doesn’t sound too bad. There are no storms in sight, and the chance of rain starts at 27 per cent at 1 pm. That said, it crawls over 30 per cent as the afternoon goes along. There is also the matter of the Chargers – who play in a dome – being the road team.
