NFL Week 15 Weather Report: Buffalo, Carolina, Seattle Get Showers
Week 15 is the start of the funky NFL holiday schedule. If you love football, you’ll love the upcoming weekends when games are spread out over more days than usual. Saturday features a trio of matches. But which will have to deal with challenging elements?
Let’s check out the details. To know the reports on all the games, including fair weather, visit nflweather.com.
NFL Week 15 Weather Report
Chicago Bears at Cleveland Browns
By the time the regular season ends, no matter where the Browns finish in the standings, one thing is sure. They are one of the teams that have played in the worst home weather all season (the Jets and Giants have been unlucky too). On Saturday afternoon some rain is expected, with 58 per cent of the region getting hit.
Atlanta Falcons at Carolina Panthers
The Atlanta Falcons one on the hunt for the division crown. Here’s hoping their predator instincts aren’t dulled by bad weather, because the Charlotte region is going to be 92 per cent wet, with nary any let-up all afternoon.
New York Jets at Miami Dolphins
The New York Jets played most of their home games in terrible weather, so knowing that Sunday may see a thunderstorm in Miami shouldn’t worry them much. Granted, the percentage is only 26 per cent, so it’s not too bad. Then again, he who says “storm” by definition says “wind.” Gusts will go up to 23 mph, or 37 km an hour.
Dallas Cowboys at Buffalo Bills
One of the more intriguing games of the Sunday slate has the Dallas Cowboys visiting the Buffalo Bills in the late afternoon window. Adding to the contest’s unpredictability is that 83 per cent of the region will be drenched, not to mention winds of up to 17 mph, or 27 km.
Baltimore Ravens at Jacksonville Jaguars
At least football players don’t have to worry about the cold in Florida. Even so, judging by what might transpire down south in Miami, it’s small wonder that Jacksonville will be hit by winds of up to 23 mph on Sunday night, or 37 km.
Philadelphia Eagles at Seattle Seahawks
The Eagles and Seahawks have differing playoff aspirations. Philly has its sights on the number one seed in the NFC whereas Seattle just wants to get in. But what would a Monday Night Football game in Seattle be without rain? The metropolitan area will be 93 per cent covered in rain, in other words, it’s gonna get wet. The winds will be calm, though.
