New England Patriots at Pittsburgh Steelers: Zap attack

New England’s offence is absolutely atrocious this season. The Patriots allowed just six points against the Chargers last week, 10 points against the Giants the week before and 10 points against the Colts the game before that, but still lost all three contests outright. Head coach Bill Belichick seems to have comepletely given up on Mac Jones at quarterback, but Bailey Zappe isn’t any better. Zappe threw for just 141 yards last week and he’s thrown interceptions in two of his last three games while seeing limited action. Slated to start against Pittsburgh, Zappe is due for at least one pick.

NFL Week 14 Prediction: Bailey Zappe Over 0.5 INTs (-190)

Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys: Battle of MVP candidates

This is easily the game of the week as it features two of the top three MVP candidates starting at quarterback.

This is Dak Prescott’s chance to prove the Cowboys are the real deal. Prescott is averaging 309 passing yards per game at home this season, throwing for 18 TDs and just two interceptions in those six games. He has thrown multiple touchdown passes in six straight games overall and he’s finished with at least 272 passing yards in six of his last seven. Prescott will shred Philadelphia’s defence, which allows an average of 260 passing yards per game, the fourth-worst mark in the NFL.

The Eagles fell flat against San Francisco last week, but you can’t put the loss on Jalen Hurts, who finished the game with 298 passing yards and two total touchdowns. We like Hurts as an anytime touchdown scorer against Dallas. Hurts has run in a TD in four straight games and seven of his last eight overall. His 12 rushing TDs on the season ranks second in the NFL and he already picked the Cowboys apart for a rushing touchdown in Philly’s Week 9 home win.

NFL Week 14 Prediction: Dak Prescott Over 284.5 passing yards (-115)

NFL Week 14 Prediction: Jalen Hurts anytime touchdown

Tennessee Titans at Miami Dolphins: Waddle into the end zone

The Dolphins have dominated teams with losing records this season and that should continue in Week 14 against Tennessee. A lot of the talk is deservedly centring around Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill, but keep your eye on Jaylen Waddle this week. It’s tempting to take Hill’s receiving yards prop, but he’s put up such ridiculous numbers, you’re getting much better value with Miami’s No. 2 option. Waddle has finished with 60-plus receiving yards five times this season, including a 114-yard performance two weeks ago against the Jets. Tennessee’s defence will focus on Hill, leaving the door open for Waddle to put up big numbers.

NFL Week 14 Prediction: Jaylen Waddle Over 66.5 receiving yards
