NFL Week 14 Odds and Predictions: Best Picks Against the Spread
Here’s a quick look at all Week 14 games, played Sunday unless noted.

Las Vegas Raiders at Los Angeles Rams
It’s almost hard to fathom that the Rams won the Super Bowl in February because they are just terrible this season on a six-game losing streak and 3-9 overall. QB Matthew Stafford isn’t expected back this year due to injury. He hasn’t played since Week 11. The Raiders appear to be waking up as they won a third straight game on Sunday, 27-20 over the Chargers. Davante Adams had two TD catches, and NFL rushing leader Josh Jacobs 144 yards and a TD on the ground.
Pick ATS: Las Vegas
New York Jets at Buffalo Bills
Buffalo was upset at the Jets in Week 9, 20-17. Zach Wilson was still the starting New York QB then and was solid in completing 18 of 25 for 154 yards and a TD. Josh Allen struggled through the air in completing 18 of 34 for 205 yards and two picks but did rush for two scores. The Bills won their third in a row on Thursday, 24-10 at New England. The Jets lost 27-22 at Minnesota on Sunday. Mike White threw for 369 yards but was picked twice.
Pick ATS: New York

Cleveland Browns at Cincinnati Bengals
Arguably the best game Cleveland has played this season was on Halloween night when it routed Cincinnati 32-13. Nick Chubb rushed for 101 yards and two scores. The Bengals didn’t have star wideout Ja’Marr Chase due to injury and managed only 229 yards. Cleveland won 27-14 at Houston on Sunday in Deshaun Watson’s regular-season debut with the team – although he looked rusty. The Bengals won their fourth in a row, 27-24 vs. Kansas City. Chase returned and had seven catches for 97 yards.
Pick ATS: Cincinnati
Houston Texans at Dallas Cowboys
Houston lost its seventh in a row Sunday, 27-14. QB Kyle Allen, in his second start since Davis Mills was benched, threw for 201 yards with a fumble that was returned for a touchdown and two interceptions. Dallas blasted Indianapolis 54-19 on Sunday, scoring 33 points in the fourth quarter. It was just the third time in NFL history a team has scored at least that many in the fourth.
Pick ATS: Houston (alternate line of +17.5)
Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions
Minnesota beat Detroit 28-24 in Week 3 on a 28-yard KJ Osborn touchdown catch from Kirk Cousins. Detroit had led 24-14 about midway through the fourth. Jamaal Williams had two TD runs for the Lions. The Vikings were 27-22 home winners over the Jets on Sunday. Camryn Bynum’s interception at the 1-yard line with 10 seconds sealed it. Detroit was a 40-14 winner over Jacksonville. Jared Goff threw for 340 yards and two scores.
Pick ATS: Detroit
Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans
It’s the first meeting of the season between the teams with the Titans going to Jacksonville in Week 18. The Jaguars were pummeled in Detroit on Sunday and QB Trevor Lawrence hurt his knee but should be good to play here. The Titans lost 35-10 at Philadelphia. Derrick Henry was completely bottled up with 30 yards on 11 carries.
Pick ATS: Tennessee (alternate line of -3)

Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants
It’s the first meeting of the season between the NFC East rivals with the Giants visiting Philly in Week 18. The Eagles trounced the Titans on Sunday to keep the NFL’s best record. Jalen Hurts threw for 380 yards and three scores and rushed for a TD and is nearly even with Patrick Mahomes now as the MVP favourite. New York tied Washington, 20-20. Graham Gano missed a 58-yard field goal as time expired in OT.
Pick ATS: Philadelphia
Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers
The AFC North rivals meet for the first time with Baltimore hosting Pittsburgh in Week 17. The Ravens likely will be without starting QB Lamar Jackson as he injured his knee in Sunday’s 10-9 win over Denver. Tyler Huntley would start if Jackson can’t go. Pittsburgh was a 19-16 winner in Atlanta. Rookie QB Kenny Pickett has now gone four straight games without a pick.
Pick ATS: Pittsburgh (alternate line of -2.5)
Kansas City Chiefs at Denver Broncos
This was to be the Sunday night game but was flexed out because Denver is terrible. It’s the first matchup as division rivals between Patrick Mahomes and Russell Wilson. The Broncos’ offence continued to be laughable Sunday in a 10-9 loss to Baltimore. Brandon McManus came up short on a 63-yard field goal as time expired. Kansas City lost 27-24 in Cincinnati to see a five-game winning streak end.
Pick ATS: Denver
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at San Francisco 49ers
The Bucs are on a short week after rallying from down 13 late in the fourth quarter to stun New Orleans 17-16 on Monday night. The 49ers’ Super Bowl chances may have ended in Sunday’s 33-17 win over Miami as starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo was lost to a season-ending broken foot. Brock Purdy, the Mr. Irrelevant of the 2022 NFL Draft, will be the starter going forward.
Pick ATS: Tampa Bay

Carolina Panthers at Seattle Seahawks
Carolina comes off its bye week and presumably will stick with Sam Darnold under centre as he started in Week 12, a 23-10 win over Denver. The Panthers released former No. 1 overall pick Baker Mayfield on Monday. Seattle won 27-23 at the Rams on Sunday. DK Metcalf caught an 8-yard touchdown pass from Geno Smith with 36 seconds to play. Good-looking rookie RB Kenneth Walker III left with an ankle injury but might play this week.
Pick ATS: Seattle (alternate line of -3)
Miami Dolphins at Los Angeles Chargers
This was flexed into the Sunday night window. Miami’s five-game winning streak ended in a 33-17 loss at the 49ers on Sunday. QB Tua Tagovailoa left late with an injury but is expected to be fine. Tagovailoa threw a 75-yard touchdown pass to Trent Sherfield on the opening play from scrimmage but struggled to do much else. The Chargers lost 27-20 at home to the Raiders. Justin Herbert completed 28 of 47 passes for 335 yards for his 20th career 300-yard game.
Pick ATS: Los Angeles (alternate line of +3.5)
New England Patriots at Arizona Cardinals, Monday
The Cardinals will be very well-rested as they come off their bye week with Coach Kliff Kingsbury on the hot seat. New England was inept offensively in a 24-10 home loss to Buffalo on Thursday in Week 13, but Coach Bill Belichick isn’t planning to bench QB Mac Jones yet.
Pick ATS: Arizona
