Raiders’ Brock Bowers misses practice again, questionable status vs. Colts
Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers is questionable for the Week 5 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts after sitting out Thursday and Friday’s practice sessions with a knee injury.
He was hurt back in Week 2, but has been trying to play through the injury ever since. The NFL odds board has his Raiders set as 7-point underdogs for Week 5’s game in Indianapolis.

Through four games Bowers has 19 receptions for 225 yards on 27 targets. He is averaging 11.8 yards per reception and has recorded 10 first downs. Bowers has a 70.4 percent catch rate and has generated 134 yards after the catch, but has not scored a touchdown. Last season Bowers lit the league up as a rookie with 112 catches for 1194 yards and five touchdowns.
If Bowers is out, Michael Mayer is expected to see an increased role – that is if he’s able to play. Mayer has been limited in practice this week after suffering a concussion in Week 3.
