The Philadelphia Eagles look to open 2-0 when they visit the Tennessee Titans on Sunday at Nissan Stadium.

Philadelphia survived a late Washington comeback to win its opener 24-22. Jalen Hurts completed 14 of 25 passes for 203 yards and three touchdowns, while Saquon Barkley rushed for 83 yards on 15 carries.

Tennessee’s Robert Saleh era began with a 23-10 home loss to his former team, the New York Jets. The Titans were out-gained 367-195 and possessed the ball for only about 21 minutes.

Cam Ward completed 19 of 32 passes for 140 yards and a touchdown, while Tony Pollard managed 35 yards on seven carries.

Philadelphia has won two straight against Tennessee, including a 35-10 rout in December 2022.

NFL Betting Odds, Point Spread, Trends

Philadelphia is currently a 7-point road favourite on the NFL odds after producing only 318 total yards in its opening victory.

Tennessee averaged just 4.0 yards per play, converted one-third of its third downs and reached the red zone only once.

The matchup could favour Philadelphia on the ground. The Jets rushed for 152 yards on 39 attempts against Tennessee, while Barkley averaged 5.5 yards per carry against Washington.

Tennessee also failed to sack Geno Smith. Hurts presents a different challenge after throwing three touchdowns and repeatedly extending plays with his legs.

NFL Player Odds and Props

Philadelphia Eagles

Jalen Hurts 2+ passing touchdowns (+125)

Hurts threw three touchdowns on 25 attempts against Washington, posting a 122.2 passer rating. Tennessee allowed Smith to complete 19 of 24 passes and failed to record a sack.

Hurts also has Dallas Goedert, A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith at his disposal.

Saquon Barkley over 70 rushing yards (-145)

Barkley rushed for 83 yards in the opener, including a 42-yard run.

The Jets demonstrated how Philadelphia could attack Tennessee, rushing 39 times for 152 yards. Barkley should receive enough volume to clear this number.

Tennessee Titans

Cam Ward over 175 passing yards (-160)

Ward managed only 140 yards against New York, but Tennessee ran just 46 offensive plays.

Playing as a touchdown underdog increases the likelihood that Ward will have to throw throughout the second half.

Tony Pollard over 50 rushing yards (+100)

Pollard ran only seven times against New York but averaged 5.0 yards per carry.

The Titans should want considerably more balance this week, giving Pollard enough additional opportunities to clear this number.

Philadelphia Eagles

Philadelphia will be without Pro Bowl left guard Landon Dickerson, who was placed on injured reserve after suffering an injury in the opener. His absence leaves the interior line facing Jeffery Simmons and Tennessee’s defensive front.

Outside linebacker Jonathan Greenard is also worth monitoring after a pectoral injury kept him out of the season opener.

Tennessee Titans

Tennessee needs to establish its running game after Pollard received only seven carries against New York, which would take pressure off Ward.

Linebacker Cedric Gray also bears watching after missing Week 1 while in concussion protocol. He led Tennessee with 160 tackles last season.
