Buffalo Bills to Keep Von Miller on PUP List for Four Games
Just as the Buffalo Bills concluded their 2022 campaign without Super Bowl-winning pass rusher Von Miller, they’ll have to begin 2023 without him as well. It was reported on Monday that the team is keeping Miller on the PUP list (physically unable to play) for the first four games of the schedule.

Bills’ LB Von Miller to Miss Four Games
Von Miller suffered a right ACL injury in last season’s Thanksgiving match against the Detroit Lions. It put a swift end to his first year in Buffalo after he had signed a six-year $120 million contract during the 2022 offseason. He had previously played for and won Super Bowls with the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Rams.
Speaking of Miller’s former teams, the Bills recently brought in former L.A. Rams linebacker Leonard Floyd to bolster the defensive unit. Now the team hopes that Floyd and company can hold the fort while Miller completes his rehab.
Miller has long been considered one of the premium linebackers in the NFL, with speed and strength in abundance. Always a nuisance for opposing offensive linemen and quarterbacks, he’s hit the 10-sack mark seven times in his 11-year career.
The four games in question that Miller will miss are a visit to the New York Jets, the home opener versus the Las Vegas Raiders, a road match against the Washington Commanders, and a home date with the Miami Dolphins. Should he be ready to hit the field after that, his first game would come against the Jaguars in London.
