It might show up as a home game on their schedule, but nothing about San Francisco’s Monday night matchup with the Buffalo Bills will provide the comforts of familiar surroundings. COVID-19 protocols have forced the 49ers out of their normal home at Levi’s Stadium and into State Farm Stadium in Glendale, home to the Arizona Cardinals. There also won’t be any fans in the stands, which should greatly benefit the visiting Bills in their quest to reach the AFC playoffs.

NFL Week 13 MNF Point Spread and Betting Analysis

The Bills come in favoured by just under a field goal, and Sports Interaction participants are siding with the AFC East leaders at an 84-percent clip. Buffalo has fared well in recent history against NFC foes, covering each of its previous five games vs. the other conference. The 49ers have covered just one of their previous five “home” games, but are an impressive 8-3 against the spread (ATS) in their last encounters with AFC opponents.

The total for this one is still up in the air, but we can study recent trends nonetheless – and they paint a picture that could be difficult for bettors to distinguish. On one hand, the Bills are 8-3 to the Over in their last 11 games and have a 4-1 O/U mark in their last five games away from Bills Stadium. San Francisco, however, has converted the Under in four of its past six games and has seen 43 or fewer total points scored four times over that span.

Buffalo Bills

Is it worth taking a shot on the Stefon Diggs touchdown prop this weekend? That’s one of the top questions prop bettors are facing heading into this encounter. Diggs ranks among the NFL leaders with 945 receiving yards on the season, but has found the end zone just four times – and only two of those touchdowns have come in his last eight games. Diggs sees too many targets to ignore, but keep your touchdown expectations reasonable.

San Francisco 49ers

A tumultuous season for the 49ers has taken another strange turn with the temporary move to Arizona, where the 49ers will be forced to play at least their next two home games. But maybe the move is a blessing for San Francisco, which has looked dismal at Levi’s Stadium so far this season. The 49ers come into Week 13 with a 1-4 SU and ATS record at home for the year, having failed to score more than 24 points in any home game in 2020.
