The Texans are pegged as short 2.5-point home favourites on the NFL odds. The Bengals are listed as +120 underdogs on the NFL moneyline, and the total is pegged at 46 after the OVER paid out in each of the squad’s Week1 matchups.
Recent meetings have also produced lots of points, with the total reaching 57 or higher in each of their past two dates.
The Texans have largely dominated in head-to-head action, taking eight of 10 from Cincinnati, but have seen their two recent losses to the Bengals come on home turf.

The Bengals may also have an injury situation to monitor under centre. Burrow was limited in Wednesday’s practice, while defensive tackle B.J. Hill did not participate. Rookie defensive end Shemar Stewart was a full participant.
Chase Brown remains an important part of the matchup against a Texans defence that will try to pressure Burrow without allowing Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins to produce explosive plays. Brown is priced among the shortest anytime touchdown options as a +100 bet.
Houston Texans
Houston’s 0-1 record hides an encouraging offensive opener. The Texans generated 381 total yards against Buffalo, including 257 through the air and 124 on the ground, but failed to cover as short road underdogs.
The injury report is more concerning. Collins and Will Anderson Jr. were limited Wednesday, while Dalton Schultz, Jadeveon Clowney and Jake Hummel did not practice. Rookie receiver Jayden Higgins is already out for the season with a knee injury.
If Collins plays, C.J. Stroud should have opportunities against a Cincinnati defence that gave up 27 points in Week 1.
