It’s never too early to start talking about the 2015 NFL season and even though official schedules have yet to be released until spring, we can still take a look at each team’s strength of schedule.

The NFL released the list of opponents each team will face for the upcoming season in December, which gives us the ability to take a look at who will have the toughest, and conversely, the easiest path to Super Bowl 50.

It’s no surprise that the easiest schedule was bestowed to a team that finished in the worst division in the league, the NFC South. All four teams, the New Orleans Saints, Carolina Panthers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Atlanta Falcons finished with losing records. Atlanta won the loser lottery, claiming the easiest schedule for 2015, having to face only four teams that had winning records in 2014.

The hardest schedule will be played by the Pittsburgh Steelers who will match up against 11 teams that had winning records, nine of which made the playoffs in 2014. Based on those numbers, it might be difficult for the Steelers to make their second consecutive playoff appearance in 2015.

Below you can see how the rest of the league falls in terms of opponents combined winning percentage.
