Washington vs. Michigan: CFP Betting Odds and Player Props

Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. topped all Division 1 quarterbacks with 4,648 yards. He is a throwing machine, making the OVER an appealing choice for Washington receivers.

2024 National Championship Player Props

Penix achieved 300-plus yards in nine of 14 games this season, including 319 yards against Oregon in the Pac-12 title game and 430 yards versus Texas in the Sugar Bowl. I am confident going over the passing total of 297.5 yards.
Although facing Michigan will pose a challenge for passing, Washington will rely on their star quarterback to showcase his strengths.
Rome Odunze, a potential NFL first-round pick, will be a primary target for Penix. His number is slated ant 94.5 yards. I think he will be an 100+ yard receiver in the National Championship. Additionally, Ja’Lynn Polk, who had a 100-yard performance against Texas, has gained over 54.5 yards in nearly every game this season. His number is a reasonable 56.5 yards. I like both of the overs.
Jalen McMillan’s availability is uncertain due to injuries, but he displayed strong performances earlier in the season. However, his recent games saw lower yardage. I projected him at 60 yards, which is slightly lower than his prop total of 67.5.
Michigan’s strategy will heavily involve feeding the ball to Blake Corum, unless Washington takes a significant lead, forcing the Wolverines to rely more on passing, which could result in additional receiving yards for Corum on screen plays. Have confidence to play Corum over 100+ yards rushing. Pencil him down for an anytime touchdown scorer, and roll the dice for the first touchdown scorer. If Michigan wins, Corum could very well be the games MVP.
