The home side is playing through injuries at several key positions which should make things even more difficult slowing down Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant.

NBA Point Spread and Betting Analysis

The Warriors are on a four-game win streak but they failed to cover as 9.5-point favourites against the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday afternoon. Golden State is 6-1 straight up and 3-4 against the spread entering Monday’s matchup with the Bulls. The Over is 3-0 in the club’s last three games and 4-3 on the campaign.

Chicago collected just its second win of the season when it clipped the Atlanta Hawks 97-85 on Saturday night. The Bulls have yet to be favoured in a game despite playing against just one playoff team from last season. They are 2-4 straight up and 3-3 against the spread with a 3-3 Over/Under record.

Golden State is just 47-46-1 ATS as an away favourite since Kevin Durant joined up the Splash Brothers. The Bulls, meanwhile, are 34-26-1 ATS when catching points at home since Fred Hoiberg became the head coach in 2015.

Golden State Warriors

Curry and Durant are taking turns in the starring role for the NBA champions. Curry broke the NBA record for most consecutive games with five or more made 3s, and he’s shooting an insane .527 from deep on more than 12 attempts per game.

Durant scored 41 points at MSG on Friday night and followed it up with 34 points, eight rebounds and six assists against the Nets. Klay Thompson remains in a shooting funk. The four-time All-Star has made just five of his 36 attempts from 3-point land.

Despite allowing a backdoor cover for Brooklyn on Sunday, bettors might want to look at backing Golden State in the second half with live betting options. The Warriors own the NBA’s best second half point differential at +7.5 points.

Chicago Bulls

Basketball fans in the Windy City have seen some guards who could fill up a hoop, and they’re being treated with a new one in Bulls jersey this season. Zach LaVine was one of the key assets Chicago picked up in the Jimmy Butler trade, but a knee injury delayed the high-flyer from taking off for his new team.

All good things are worth waiting for and that’s proved true for LaVine. The 23-year-old is averaging 29.3 points while shooting .527 from the floor. He’s attacking the rack and is averaging a career-best 8.7 free throw attempts per game.

LaVine’s scoring bump is a welcome relief for a Chicago lineup missing starting power forward Lauri Markkanen, starting point guard Kris Dunn, and subs Bobby Portis and Denzel Valentine.
