While Tiger Woods remains the biggest worldwide star in golf, there’s no question that the biggest spectacle in the sport right now is watching muscle-bound Bryson DeChambeau hit a driver off the tee. The American can easily hit drives north of 400 yards if the course and winds are accommodating.

He could truly overpower storied Augusta National at this year’s Masters, which tees off Thursday morning. The 27-year-old transformed his body for this year by putting on 40 pounds of muscle, and he now hits drives several yards past where he did only a year ago.

Bryson DeChambeau Masters Betting Odds

DeChambeau, the tournament betting favourite on the golf odds, will tee off at 7:33 a.m. ET from Augusta’s 10th tee Thursday along with Spain’s Jon Rahm (our pick to win) and South Africa’s Louis Oosthuizen. None of the three have won the Masters – Oosthuizen was a runner-up in a 2012 playoff to Bubba Watson. DeChambeau did win the U.S. Open in September at the even tougher Winged Foot for his first major title.

According to reports, DeChambeau was consistently hitting his tee shots 40 yards past Tiger during a practice round at Augusta this week. On Monday, DeChambeau said he left himself only a pitching wedge into the 505-yard, par-4 11th hole. DeChambeau originally said he wasn’t going to use his mammoth 48-inch driver this week – the longest allowed in competition under the Rules of Golf – but then backtracked Tuesday and said he might.

DeChambeau leads the PGA Tour in average driving distance by far this season at 344.4 yards. Tiger? Way down at 295.4. DeChambeau hasn’t had much success in three previous Masters with finishes of T29, T38 and T21.

2020 US Masters

Tournament Matchup - D Johnson v DeChambeau
  • Bryson DeChambeau -112
  • Draw +1600
  • Dustin Johnson -111

Sports Interaction has numerous props available for DeChambeau and other top players – check out our Tiger picks. For example, DeChambeau is -112 for a head-to-head tournament result against world No. 1 Dustin Johnson (-111). DJ hasn’t been outside the Top 10 in his past four Masters but also yet to win a green jacket.

The Masters Betting Props

In Group A betting, Johnson and DeChambeau are both +300 with Rahm at +350, Justin Thomas at +400 and Rory McIlroy at +400. Hard to believe no green jackets in that group. For top American, DeChambeau is the +499 favourite.

To make the cut, DeChambeau is -998 and no +496. To lead Round 1, he’s +1000 – DeChambeau was tied for the opening-round lead at the Masters last year after firing a 66 but then faded a bit. For a Top-10 finish, he is priced at +100.

Bryson is +348 on a yes-only prop to have a bogey-free round and +500 to shoot 70 or under in every round. In his 12 previous rounds at Augusta, he has been 70 or better just twice.

Naturally, Sports Interaction offers a prop on DeChambeau’s longest drive of the tournament. It’s an over-under of 380.5 yards with the over a slight -120 favourite. He averaged 325.6 yards off the tee at Winged Foot for the U.S. Open, but that course is much tighter than Augusta. The longest driving average for one Masters ever was Tiger at 323 yards off the tee in 1997.

Specials - Bryson DeChambeau Longest Tournament Drive
  • Over 380.5 Yards -120
  • Under 380.5 Yards -111

In addition, bettors can wager on DeChambeau’s longest drive of the tournament at -333 vs. total passing yards for Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson (+220) in Sunday’s NFL game vs. the Los Angeles Rams in a cross-sport prop. Wilson is averaging 317.6 passing yards per game this season, second-most in the league.

Bryson DeChambeau Masters Predictions

That prop against Wilson is almost stealing because DeChambeau is going to jack one at least 385 and it’s very unlikely Wilson gets near that many against a good Rams defence. We like Johnson head-to-head against DeChambeau and naturally Rahm in that group wager since he’s the winning pick. Bryson will not have a bogey-free round (he will absolutely have an eagle or two or three if that becomes a prop) or shoot every round at 70 or better. Go over that 380.5-yard longest drive prop.
