Something to keep in mind when looking at these lopsided odds – the Liberty were 14.5-point favourites against Seattle earlier this week, but failed to cover, winning by just 8 points.

New York Liberty

After a shaky start to their season with an opening game loss, the New York Liberty have notched three straight wins.  A big reason for their fans to be excited is the impressive play of Breanna Stewart, who’s currently leading on the WNBA MVP odds board. Alongside Sabrina Ionescu and Jonquel Jones, she is part of one of the most intimidating offensive threats in the league.

Stewart had 25 points on 8 out of 14 shooting in their last matchup, and was on the court for a full 37 minutes. Sabrina Ionescu is averaging 16 points and 7.3 rebounds..

This game in the Windy City will be the third away game for New York this season, winning the one against the Storm in Seattle, but losing in Washington to the Mystics in their opening game.

Chicago Sky

Chicago is now 3-2 on their young season, and it’s primarily due to a stout defense, which currently ranks fourth in the league. On the other side of the court is where we see this club struggle in a big way. The Sky have the worst offensive rating in the WNBA.

The Atlanta Dream took advantage of that poor offence in Chicago’s last matchup, winning by a final score of 83-65.

Players to watch include Dana Evans, who got 11 points and 5 rebounds in her last game; Kahleah Cooper, who is getting an average of 14.6 points and 5 rebounds, and Marina Mabrey, who  is averaging 14.3 points and 4.3 rebounds.
