The 2026 men’s singles Wimbledon tournament is coming down the home stretch. After the women’s semifinals took centre stage on Thursday, the four remaining title hopefuls on the men’s side will headline Friday’s order of play.

Felix Auger-Aliassime was one game away from representing Canada in the semifinals, but he lost a five-set, five-hour marathon to Novak Djokovic in the quarterfinals. Djokovic’s reward is a showdown against world No. 1 Jannik Sinner, while reigning French Open champion Alexander Zverev is facing an improbable opponent in wild card Arthur Fery.

Let’s break down the odds for the Wimbledon men’s semifinal matchups and discuss the best bets to make.

Jannik Sinner vs. Novak Djokovic best bet: Djokovic +5.5 games (-110)

Is Djokovic going to win this match outright against the best player in the world? Maybe not, but there is no way someone of his pedigree should be this big of an underdog – not at Wimbledon, at least. Djokovic is an absurd 107-13 all-time at the All-England Club and still going strong with a 49-3 record in his last 52 matches at this event. He is a seven-time champion and has now advanced to an eighth consecutive semifinal. Although a five-hour and 15-minute quarterfinal is by no means ideal, don’t forget that Djokovic has two full days off in between the quarters and semis. One of the most physically fit players in tennis history should not be impacted.

Meanwhile, Sinner lost in the second round of the French Open and was a set away from falling in the first round of Wimbledon before escaping Miomir Kecmanovic in five. The Italian has not dropped a set since that opening scare, but he has played a total of four tiebreakers against his last four opponents – including two against Nuno Borges in the second round. Sinner’s match on Wednesday resulted in a competitive 7-5, 7-6(4), 6-3 scoreline against Jan-Lennard Struff.

The head-to-head series between Sinner and Djokovic could not be closer. It stands at 6-5 in the 24-year-old’s favour after Djokovic won their most recent meeting in five sets at the 2026 Australian Open.

Alexander Zverev vs. Arthur Fery best bet: Over 18.5 total aces (-120)

There does not appear to be much value on either player. Fery is correctly priced as a massive underdog, as he has very little chance to win. Zverev will almost certainly take care of business, but it’s not worth backing him at such short odds.

Instead, venturing toward the prop market and anticipating plenty of aces seems like the way to go. Zverev has blasted 78 aces through five Wimbledon matches, averaging 0.88 per service game. Based on that average, he could get close to this 18.5 quota all by himself even if the match – as predicted – is relatively short. Fery, however, could also contribute. The world No. 114 is averaging more than six aces per match for the tournament.

It’s also worth noting that neither man does a particularly good job of getting a racket on opponents’ serves. Fery is listed at just 5’9” — and that’s being generous. The Brit does not have a long wingspan either, so it is difficult for him to avoid aces. He has been aced 55 times in his last four matches. Over the past 52 weeks, Zverev is getting aced on 8.0 per cent of his return points. The second seed has seen 31 serves blow by him in his last two rounds.
