Manchester City vs. Everton Premier League soccer odds and betting predictions

The meeting between Manchester City and Everton is one of the most traditional in English football. The two teams faced each other for the first time in 1899 and, since then, the duel has taken place 199 times officially.

There are 82 wins for the Citizens, against 68 for Everton and 49 draws. When playing at home, the dominance is even more evident: in 98 matches played in Manchester, City won 55 times, drew 24 and lost only 19. The recent history also reinforces this favoritism. In the last 20 clashes between the two teams, City won 15, drew four and lost only one.

With such expressive numbers, it is natural that Pep Guardiola’s team is favoured on Sports Interaction’s soccer odds board.

City did not have a smooth start to the season in the Premier League, but their performance has been evolving. Rodri’s absence worries Guardiola, but City’s squad is much deeper and has alternatives capable of maintaining the standard of play. The lack of Grealish, on the other hand, can reduce Everton’s creative capacity, which must adopt a more cautious stance, trying to exploit counterattacks.

Given this, Manchester City is favorite to win, especially playing at home and counting on Haaland in good form.
