Barcelona vs. Olympiacos

Reigning Greek champions Olympiacos are a very successful team in their country, but they should be no match for Barcelona’s stellar squad on Tuesday, especially playing away from home.

The Catalan team needs a victory to enter the qualification zone for the round of 16, as they have so far beaten Newcastle and been overcome by Paris Saint-Germain. The Greek team, in turn, has one point, as a result of a draw against Paphos, from Cyprus, and a loss to Arsenal.

Villarreal vs. Manchester City

After a frustrating season, in which they fell in the Champions League playoffs, Manchester City are part of the qualification zone for the knockout stage with four points, as they beat Napoli at home and drew against Monaco away. Guardiola’s City is one of the favorites to win the cup.

Villarreal got a place in the Champions League by finishing fifth in the last edition of La Liga. The Yellow Submarine has only one point in the tournament, as they lost in their debut to Tottenham and then drew at home against Juventus.

 Arsenal vs. Atlético de Madrid

Despite not losing in six matches, having thrashed Real Madrid 5-2 in this sequence, Atletico Madrid are yet to win away from home this season, one of the reasons why they are seen as underdogs on Tuesday.

Arsenal, on the other hand, is the leader of the Premier League with 19 points in eight rounds and is on a roll in Champions League play. After the defeat against Liverpool at the end of August, the Gunners have seven wins and a draw, and are still unbeaten at home this season.

 Real Madrid vs. Juventus

Real are making a great start to the season and will have the strength of the Santiago Bernabéu on their side. In the last five meetings, the Old Lady has only beaten the Blancos on one occasion, in 2018, and even then they were eliminated in the quarterfinals of that edition of the Champions League. The last Real Madrid vs Juventus, in July this year, in the round of 16 of the FIFA Club World Cup, ended with a 1-0 Spanish victory.

 Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Liverpool

One of the favorites to win the 2025/26 Champions League, Liverpool is going through a tough stretch with four defeats in a row. On all these occasions, the team went to the break at a disadvantage.

Eintracht Frankfurt, on the other hand, has only won one of its last five matches, conceding no less than 18 goals in this sequence. Seventh in the Bundesliga, the team has the worst defense in the competition.
