Odds for Barcelona vs Real Madrid

Barcelona made it very clear they came to Saudi Arabia to win the Super Cup after demolishing Athletic Club 5–0 in the semifinal. The Catalan attack continues to show that it is extremely hard to stop. On top of that, Barça arrive with one extra day of rest compared to Real Madrid.

Barcelona is listed as a short -105 favourite on our soccer odds page.

How Barcelona are coming into the match

Barcelona secured their place in the Spanish Super Cup final before halftime in the semifinal against Bilbao, scoring four unanswered goals. The scoreline was completed shortly after the start of the second half, when Raphinha scored his second goal of the match, and then Hansi Flick managed the team’s effort levels through to the end.

This was the Catalans’ ninth consecutive victory in all competitions and their fifth straight match without conceding a goal. In those five matches, they scored 13 goals, and 26 goals in total across the nine wins.

Barcelona’s attack is undeniably extremely dangerous, failing to score in only one match this season: a 3–0 defeat to Chelsea in the Champions League.

With an extra day of rest, the Culés will try for another emphatic win over Real Madrid, after the 2025 Super Cup final ended 5–2.

How Real Madrid are coming into the match

Real Madrid also arrive in good form after beating Atlético Madrid 2–1 in the other semifinal in Jeddah. That was their fifth consecutive win, but it was a much tougher match than Barcelona’s.

Of course, a clásico is always different and anything can happen, but Los Blancos arrive with one fewer day of rest and more inconsistent results overall, with three losses and three draws in their last 13 matches across all competitions.

Xabi Alonso’s team continues to be affected by many injury absences, although on the positive side, Kylian Mbappé appears to be fully recovered from his injury and is expected to go straight into the starting lineup on Sunday.

Who wins: Barcelona or Real Madrid?

The last two Spanish Super Cup finals featured the same teams that will face each other on Sunday, and both ended in lopsided scorelines. In 2024, Real Madrid won 4–1, and in 2025 Barcelona won 5–2. This competition carries less weight in the season overall, but neither team wants to lose to the other.

Barcelona come in with better form and more rest, so our suggestion is a Barcelona victory.
