Premier League Matchweek 32 comes back after a long international break, with just two months left on the schedule. The conclusion will be nail-biting, but it’s currently the Arsenal Young Gunners that lead by nine points with a game in hand over City.

City’s next roadblock is Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, and a loss or draw for them at this stage in the game could set Arsenal’s title in stone. Arsenal do need to lock in for a big game against Bournemouth though, as any dropped points could give City the hope they need, all while Brighton’s Danny Welbeck looks to extend his form with another goal this matchweek against Burnley.

Friday, April 10, marks the return of the EPL Matchday 32 as West Ham and Wolves kick off the action at 3 p.m. ET. Don’t miss out.

EPL Chelsea vs. Manchester City best bet: Chelsea +1 (-150)

The rivalry of the blue shades hits the turf for the 162nd time in history. Chelsea hasn’t claimed victory against City since the 2021 Champions League Final, but has drawn them three times since then, including their last 1-1 bout in the EPL in January. City has won three of the last five matchups.

Chelsea must win to have any hope of achieving Champions League football next year, as the Blues exited 8-2 on aggregate to last year’s champions, PSG. Their return to the EPL last weekend was harsh, resulting in a 3-0 loss to Everton, concluding their third straight game with zero goals. Joao Pedro (+187 to score anytime) was the last player to really do any damage to opposition, scoring a hat trick against Aston Villa on the fourth and a late 125′ goal in Chelsea’s FA Cup fifth round victory against Wrexham on the seventh. Cole Palmer (+175), nine goals, and Eno Fernandez (+300), eight goals, will have big expectations for this one to help their fellow Brazilian, Pedro (14 goals), in lifting the Blues in this domestic home match.

Manchester City did leave the Champions League on a rough 5-1 aggregate scoreline against Real Madrid, although the team hardly seemed fazed as they went on to shut out Arsenal 2-0 and take the EFL Cup trophy last weekend. Nico O’Reilly (+400) clutched the game in the second half brace within four minutes, ending the Gunners’ potential full sweep run in all competitions this year. The squad did drop points to Nottingham Forest and West Ham earlier in the month, but they still have a game in hand to play and are not yet out of the title race. Erling Haaland (-138) must be the game-changer for this one, not having scored since February.

With Chelsea in desperate need of a top-five finish, having performed subpar in their last four straight games, I think they can turn efforts around for this one and cover a +1 spread at home, given the history of draws in this matchup’s last three games.

EPL Arsenal vs. Bournemouth best bet: Under 2.5 (+120)

Seven matches remain, and Arsenal need 16 points to snatch the title, meaning this one is a “must-draw” at the very least. However, they’ll want to preserve a potential draw for their game against Man City on April 19. The Gunners shouldn’t be too worried, especially at home, even after losing the EFL Cup final to City in their most recent match on the 22nd, having gone unbeaten for the last 16 straight EPL games, with no league losses in 2026. Bukaya Saka (+150 to score anytime), Gabriel Jesus (+105), and Viktor Gyokeres (+105) have 19 goals between the three, and will need to make some magic happen against a draw-riddled Bournemouth side.

Bournemouth has capitalized on its defensive play for most of the year, forcing opponents to drop points against them with 15 draws this season. While their last match against the Gunners on January 3 ended in a 3-2 loss, the Cherries have tied their last five straight matches, seven of their last 10. Junior Kroupi, Evanilson, and Marcus Tavernier may lead the team with 20 combined goals, but seven of their last 10 games ended with an overall goal count of two or fewer.

Given Arsenal’s already defensive priorities and Bournemouth’s tendency to tie, with the Cherries averaging less than one goal a game in their last five, the Under 2.5 at +120 odds is a good price line.

EPL best player prop bet: Danny Welbeck anytime goalscorer (+130)

As 19th-place Burnley rallies at their home turf, having not won a league home game since October, Brighton’s Danny Welbeck will be licking his chops for this one. He’s got 12 goals already this season, four in his last five matches, with a brace in his most recent game against Liverpool.

Now, against a side that allowed 10 goals in their five games, and the second-worst GD in the EPL (-28), Welbeck is sure to continue his streak and strike the back of the net to give Brighton the edge.
