FIFA World Cup Betting Picks for July 1: England continues quest to end World Cup drought in Round of 32
The Round of 32 continues at the 2026 FIFA World Cup on Canada Day with a heavyweight three-game slate.
First up is England against Congo DR as the Three Lions continue their quest to end a 60-year World Cup drought.
The middle game sets up an underperforming world powerhouse in Belgium against a Senegal side that scraped through to the knockout stage as one of the top third-place finishers.
The day’s action concludes on the west coast with one of the tournament’s three co-hosts, the United States, looking for a positive result against Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Let’s get into all the action with out betting picks and parlay plays.

England vs. Congo DR
Location: Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta, Georgia
Time: 12 p.m. ET
How to watch in Canada: TSN, TSN+, CTV, Crave
England topped Group L with seven points, but a scoreless draw against a much weaker Ghana side did little to silence the doubters. Harry Kane seemingly willed his side to a win in the second half of the Three Lions’ group stage finale while becoming the country’s all-time World Cup goals leader.
Congo DR slid through to the group stage with a win, loss and draw each, finishing as the best third-placed team and the only one of those teams to have a positive goal differential at plus-one. Newcastle United’s Yoane Wissa has been brilliant with three goals in the tournament, but this is likely where the magic ends for the Leopards.
England vs. Congo DR betting pick: Harry Kane anytime goal (-130)
Parlay play: Harry Kane anytime goal + Yoane Wissa 2+ shots + both teams to score – yes (+625)

Belgium vs. Senegal
Location: Lumen Field, Seattle, Washington
Time: 4 p.m. ET
How to watch in Canada: TSN, TSN+, CTV, Crave
Belgium took Group G despite only securing one win. That result, however, might have opened the floodgates as the Red Devils pounded New Zealand 5-1 in their group stage finale in Vancouver. It’s likely the last kick at the can for this core group and while I think they’ll struggle against a tougher opponent in the Round of 16, I have confidence in them getting past Senegal.
Senegal received a tough draw in Group I with losses to powerhouses France and Norway, but a 5-0 blowout win over Iraq was enough to send the Lions of Teranga through to the knockout round as a top third-placed team. Senegal is defensively questionable, which is concerning against a Belgium attack that seems to have broken through.
Belgium vs. Senegal betting pick: Belgium total goals Over 1.5 (+110)
Parlay play: Belgium three-way moneyline + Belgium Over 1.5 goals + both teams to score – yes (+310)

USA vs. Bosnia-Herzegovina
Location: Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara, California
Time: 8 p.m. ET
How to watch in Canada: TSN, TSN+, CTV, Crave
The U.S. beat Paraguay and Australia by a combined score of 6-1 before losing to Turkey in a game that saw them rest most of their starters because they had already won Group D. The Americans also remain relatively healthy with their star players as they look to make a second straight appearance in the Round of 16.
Bosnia-Herzegovina is through to the knockout round as a third-placed team thanks to a 3-1 win over Qatar in their final group stage fixture. The Dragons proved pesky in a 1-1 tournament-opening draw against Canada, but a 4-1 loss against Switzerland leaves doubt that they can hang with tougher competition.
USA vs. Bosnia-Herzegovina betting pick: USA three-way moneyline (-275)
Parlay play: Halftime and fulltime result – USA/USA + Florian Balogun anytime goal (+210)
