Canada vs Finland Olympic Odds and Betting

Bet on Canada vs. Finland Olympic Women’s Hockey.
After Canada claimed a huge victory in their opening matchup against Switzerland, their odds to win gold in these Olympic games inched a little more above the Americans.
Team Canada
The Canadian women’s hockey team started their 2022 Olympic run with a resounding 12-1 victory over Switzerland on Thursday. Unfortunately, that victory came with a very high cost.
Melodie Daoust, who netted three goals in the first period, was knocked into the boards in the second period and left the game with what appeared to be an upper body injury. She did not return for the rest of the game. Daoust is one of the best players on Team Canada, winning tournament MVP at the 2018 Olympics.
Outshooting the Swiss 70-15, Sarah Fillier, Natalie Spooner, Blayre Turnbull and Laura Stacey each scored two goals for their team, with Ashton Bell, Rebecca Johnston, Claire Thompson and Erin Ambrose getting one apiece.
Canadian netminder Ann-Renee Desbiens came close to a shutout until Lara Stalder got one past her on a power play in the third.

Team Finland
The biggest news from the USA vs. Finland game on Thursday was the injury to American star player Brianna Decker. Kendall Coyne Schofield and Alex Carpenter each scored two goals in the American’s 5-2 win over Finland.
Finland had just one shot on net after Decker was hurt in the first period. They were outshot 52-12 by the American side. Susanna Tapani scored a power-play goal for the Fins in the third, and netminder Anni Keisala made 47 saves. In the last Olympics, they won bronze.
