Rookie netminder Stuart Skinner has taken over as the starting goalie ever since coming in as relief for Mikko Koskinen against the Jets last week. Skinner has won his past two starts, boosting his save percentage to a .939.
Dallas Stars
It’s been home sweet home at the American Airlines Center for the Stars, as they boast a 4-2-1 record on home ice. They have won their past three games at home by outscoring their opponents 14-3.
Roope Hintz scored two shorthanded goals in Saturday’s 4-1 win over St. Louis. Hintz has been on fire over the past six games, potting five goals with a pair of assists for seven points. Impressive, considering he had only one assist through the first 10 games.
Goaltender Jake Oettinger has been lights out since being called up to the big squad. In three games he is 2-0 with a 1.43 goals against average and a .955 save percentage, expect the Stars to stick with their hot hand in net.
